No selections today, but here are the comments that Martin posted about the last two months:

“July & August have been a tough couple of months. Not only has the average number of Selections been down, we have had 2 or 3 Losing Lays at bigger prices than we are used to as they have tended to drift in the markets (this also seems to be the case with some Winning Lays that have ended up at big prices). As I said previously, this seems a strange time of year and having looked at some other Services, they seem to have suffered a similar fate. This sticky 2 month period is likely to set back our 12 month growth targets.

On a positive note, most Plans have still managed to more or less break even for July & August (except 3% Stake Plan which lost circa 1.3% over the 2 months) although I am conscious that we have had several Members that joined us in mid July and their Banks will be behind at the moment. Let’s hope we can have a great September so that all Members have Banks in positive territory as it is always more comfortable playing with someone else’s cash.”
