    Thank you Rich.
Daveyboy, I think BF is a lost cause. I e-mailed Ross to tell him his BF was actually BS, to his credit he did reply and offered me a free copy of his FL software as a condolence, as I was past the refund date. Does anybody have any thoughts or knowledge on his FL software?? I know Daveyboy was not a fan of FL.

@konstantinos: Still too early to give you a definitive answer. I’d started the service mid September 2011 and broke even for the month. For October, I’m currently up 7 units thus far. They do update their results page on a weekly bases (albeit they took their time updating the Sept results) . You can cross check your results with it and so far they seem to be honest when they update their results. They did have a losing month for Sept, typical of Murphy’s law, joining the service on their first losing month ever (according to their 4 year track record). We shall see in the next few months if winning on average 20 units per month is possible as they claim.

    G’day Gordon,
just wondering if you might be able to help me ot with any info re. ‘SureWins’. Their latest offering claims to give you access to their ‘Club’ using 6 different methods, all of course profitable!! The cost is GBP 99 to join, I could not find what length of time this was for. And they even go as far to say that if you do not profit from Method 1 alone, not only will they refund your initial joining fee, but they will also give you GBP 500 for your trouble……
All this smooth talking has me worried…….any thoughts??

@Kris: hi i am stilll using them and i signed up 4 months ago. the resultls are about right, they dont always offer high odds but the winning rate is awesome. tips dont come as often as they say but like i said – most of them win. from my last 50 tips 42 have won – but they have been down as low as $1.46 – good luck!

@Kris: on another note for bsw.com – they only appear to update the blog monthly – but in the past they have posted losses in the scrolling results bar – so they do admit losses.

hi just a cautious word of warning to all your honest betting punters out there. Please, please, please avoid betting tips UK like the plague after trialling them and spending over £200.00 with them in tokens, there organisation appears to feel like the biggest scam i have come across in a long while. They have a unique way of lulling you in with their token system. So rather than pay a monthly subscription you buy tokens instead. This seems great until you start using them.

After a while i felt very confident and thought these guys have answered my prayers in me finally finding a betting tipster service i could trust. Nothing could be further from the truth now after trialling them and being with them for over two months. At first they were transparent, regularly updating results and even having a forum for members to talk and constructively criticise the service. As time went on it became apparent with the downturn in their results that the overwhelming backlash of disgruntled punters was damaging them. So you can guess what happened next, yes they did the obvious, they pulled down their results page down the open forum and stopped publishing the daily results. They are one of the most unscrupilous bunch of cowboys i have come across

Editor: This is the personal opinion of our reader. However Betting Tips UK did fail our review and our Final Review of this product is here: http://www.bettingsystemtruths.com/tag/betting-tips-uk/

just be mindful of Ross Turner tho’. I bought his Bettor Formula (with bot some 6 months ago now…….with each and every one of those months runnings at heavy losses……293 points to be exact….so if you are a $100 point bettor…….no longer replying to e-mails….yet he was heavily recommended by all and sundry, incl. James Fitz and BST……sorry guys, just sayin’ it as it is

      @Kris:
Ref Ross Turner and Bettor Formula.
I also purchased this and it has lost every month so far – 6 months – and the recommended 300 point banks has long gone. He started to send out updates and also answered emails. However, he was very rude in response to a frank email that I sent him and now does not answer any emails. I was also a founder member of his FL system and that never worked either. He said that he has retired from selling systems but I know he is still promoting them. I do not believe anything he says any more. I am also just saying it as it is. AVOID.

        Hi Damo,

We are waiting for Betfan to add our reviewer to the subscriber list so he can receive the selections for the Ex Bookie, unfortunately we have been waiting for some time now, I have no idea why? Once that is sorted, the review can begin. If it is not sorted soon, we will have to abandon the review.

    G’day Gordon,
    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the site!!
Here is one that hit my Inbox today, called ‘Backing Allstars’, by Dave Ashley. Of course it looks good, as they all do, with the truth usually revealing itself within minutes of clicking on the PayPal logo……..
Anyhow, here are some doozie quotes:
You’ll Personally be guided to profits of over £1,000 in CASH!… every 30 days!
You’ll be shown how to place winning bets every single time!!
Step by Step ‘Staking plan’ which guarantees YOU will win and always PROFIT!
In fact, the betting process which I am revealing to you is so successful, that anyone I teach this to – will be guaranteed profits of over £1,000 a month!
If your already betting professionally….. and you want to start making over
£3,000 a month from horse racing…. THEN THIS IS IT!
Stack odds in your favour so you always win!
The Backing allstars system has been stripped down, and reverse engineered to mathematically reconstruct a winning betting process that guarantees you profit over the course of the month….no matter what the results.
In fact, how would you feel if I told you the odds compilers are totally powerless to protect themselves from my selections?
Well…it’s absolutely true! If they were to try and combat this method. Then it would completely destroy the whole betting structure that actually makes them money from millions of punters in the first place.
What other methods of betting do you know that can make you over £1,000 a week in CASH! (now it’s a week, and not a month!!).
I have never had two days at a loss! SERIOUSLY. DO NOT waste any more money!

Well, that’s about it, oh yes, and all this for only GBP 29.95!!
There are also two screen shots of a Bet365 account with GBP 129,873.92 and Pinnacle with GBP 132,604.63.

Anyone who writes up tripe like this deserves to be exposed, so please Gordon, even if you simply approached them and ask if they would be so kind as to give their permission for you to run a trial here, I would love to see or hear their reaction to your request!!
The best thing it has going for it, is that it can be bought thru’ Clickbank.
    Cheers Gordon.

@gordoncoles: He actually names it as “The Foolproof Soccer Bet Method” and after three free letter tips he charges £200 for the system plus a staking plan(or £100 for 6 months continuing with his letter tips)

I just got an unsolicited email from WinNaps.co.uk. The site is registered to a Martin Mcdonald.
It came to an adress that I don’t use in response to adverts – so i am wondering where they got it from.
They say you can buy points i.e thay will keep on sending you selections until (if you still have any money left to bet) you should have made the number of points you have purchased. It says it has just started and there is no sign of a track record.

I’ve been using Betfair Miracle for over a year now and have just cancelled my subscription to the £10 per month tips. It is easy to check whether this system works for yourself as HRS publish all the results going back a few years. I can vouch for the fact that the results are accurate for at least the last 12 months. I’ve done an analysis myself from 1st of January 2011 until 1st August 2011 (anyone can do this as I said earlier). The key findings from my analysis were as follows:
234 selections with 35 of them actually winning their races. So a strike rate of 6.69 (quite a bit less than the 9.0 claimed). Strike rate calculated as 234 divided by 35.
The average Betfair starting prices of all winning selections was 5.83. Now the lay odds are always a bit higher than the back odds so I added 5% to the 5.83 to allow for this and came up with lay odds of 6.12.
So if we assume a lay stake of £50 we can work out that we would have made £9950 before allowing for commission at Betfair and any losing lay bets (234-35 x £50= £9950). Allowing for commission at a rate of 5% you are left with a gross profit of £9452.50.
35 selections at average lay odds of 6.12 loses you £8960. So if we subtract 8960 from 9452.50 you are left with a profit of £492.50. Also you would be charged £10 per month for the tips so £70 needs to be taken off £492.50 – £70 leaving a net profit of £422.50. This averages out at £60 net profit per month.
So I agree that the system is profitable long term. However the amount of time and effort that has to go into laying all the selections is very demanding and time consuming and in my opinion is not worth the effort for such a small return on investment.
The system may have had a strike rate of 90% in the past but my experience has been that it is now running at 67% so far in 2011. Another consideration is that is is difficult to always lay a horse at odds of above 3/1 as the odds can change right up to the off. So you can end up laying a horse that does not end up being a selection as the odds have changed just before the off and this can leave you out of pocket. I should add that all my figures are based on the Main system and Bonus system as this is how he compiles the updated spreadsheet. I also found that the results for the Main and Bonus systems were similar.
