Lay Bet Dominator – Days 22 to 24

15th October 2012

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the updated results for Lay Bet Dominator.

The website suggests 3 potential staking plans;

a)   fixed liabilities,  whereby whatever the odds the liability remains the same on each bet in £ terms.

b)   % liabilities, whereby the liability on each bet is a fixed % of the betting bank

c)  fixed stakes, where the profit target for each bet remains the same in £ terms. Thus the higher the odds, the higher the liability.

Having made a dreadful start, could we recover some of the bank?

Day 22 – 12th October

4 selections made today, only 1 qualified – and it won. Not a good day!

Day 23 – 13th October

The busiest day so far, with 6 selections, three qualifying – and all failing to finish first (2 seconds & a third). Banks improved across the board, more than recovering yesterday’s losses.

Day 24 – 14th October

5 selections, 2 qualifying, with one winning its race.

Staking Plan a)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 135 Loss 15.3 Closing bank 84.7 ROI -11.3%

Staking Plan b)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 106.3 Loss 16.8 Closing bank 83.2 ROI -16.8%

Staking Plan c)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 179.5 Loss 34.6 Closing bank 65.4 ROI -19.2%

So far the fixed profit target approach has been comfortably the least successful, with high staking levels on losing bets. A significant improvement from a week ago – but still well in the red on all staking plans.
