Lay Bet Dominator – Days 31 to 32

23rd October 2012

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the updated results for Lay Bet Dominator.

The website suggests 3 potential staking plans;

a)   fixed liabilities,  whereby whatever the odds the liability remains the same on each bet in £ terms.

b)   % liabilities, whereby the liability on each bet is a fixed % of the betting bank

c)  fixed stakes, where the profit target for each bet remains the same in £ terms. Thus the higher the odds, the higher the liability.

Having made a very poor start, could we continue the recent revival?

Day 31 – 21st October

2 selections – only one qualified (at the maximum odds) – and it won. A bad day.

Day 32 – 22nd October

2 selections, only 1 qualified – coming home in 3rd place.

Staking Plan a)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 190 Loss 11.5 Closing bank 88.5 ROI -6.1%

Staking Plan b)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 150.9 Loss 14.5 Closing bank 85.5 ROI -9.6%

Staking Plan c)  Opening Bank 100, Staked 263.9 Loss 32.1 Closing bank 67.9 ROI -12.2%

So far the fixed profit target approach has been comfortably the least successful, with high staking levels on losing bets. Only a 52.6% hit rate, which at average laying odds of over 2.4 is well short of what is required to be profitable.
