Here are the results for the final few days of the trial (up until Wednesday 16th of February). The last few days’ racing took for ever due to postponements due to frost & snow.

6th February  4 selections, with a single winner @ 1.78. A loss of 3.26 points using advised stakes and 2.26 points on level stakes.

11th January  3 selections – with no wins. 3 points lost using both plans.

15th January  6 selections – with two winners @ 4.4 and 5.0.  As a result, we had a 2.03 point gain using the staking plan and 3.03 points to level stakes

16th January  4 selections, and 2 winners, including ending on a win. We made gains using both plans again – 0.86 points on the staking plan, 1.86 to level stakes.

So we finished with 2 winning days, having previously seen almost all of our gains given back. The 4 days saw 5 wins from 17 selections, at average odds of 3.45 – a hit rate of 29.4%. We had no multiple wins, and a highest losing run of 6 . Using advised stakes we lost 3.37 points, whilst to level stakes we lost 0.37 points.

So using the advised bank of 75 points, we have the following final statistics:

Advised stakes: 494 points staked, Gain 6.92 points (ROI = 1.4%).  Final bank = 81.92 points (up 9.2%)

Level stakes: 318 points stakes, Gain 7.03 points (ROI = 2.2%). Final bank = 82.03 points (up 9.4%).

Hit rate: 33.6%    Average Odds of winners : 3.13         Best winning run: 4 (twice)    Worst losing run : 9 (twice).
