Click to see the FP System!

Hi Bloggers

I have been trying out Favourite’s Phenomenon since March 8th and overall I have been pretty impressed, as per the website this is not a get rich now method but an investment.  During the trial I have also had the chance to try out the FP Bot and it proved to be very reliable. I think only on one occasion did it let me down, I just simply reinstalled and was back up and running. Out of the 84 days of the review there was 21 days when there was no betting due mainly to the Maximum Potential Loss limits being exceeded or races over lapping. So out of the remaining 63 days only on two days did any of the Levels fail to get the winner the break down of the different Levels is as follows:

Level 1: 62 Days/59 Days won = 95.23% Strike Rate

Level 2: 47 Days /46 Days won = 98.04% Strike Rate

Level 3: 44 Days/ 43 Days won = 97.75% Strike Rate

Of course you could say you are doing stop at winner (SAW) but the winner came in an average of 2.57 of the qualifying races, so most of the time you had an early finish but you cannot not have a fraction of a race so it is probably best to say either the second or third qualifying race would produce the goods. There have been some comments posted on the blog about having to bet 70 points or even 121 points just to make a one point profit with FP if you follow the manual, program the FP Bot correctly or use the manual calculators provided properly its just not going to happen! Just to back it up the point’s outlay and returns are shown below for each Level:

Level 1:  122.6 points outlay, Profit 41.79 points = ROI 34.13%

Average points outlay per day = 1.98

Level 2:  102 points outlay, Profit 35.94 points = ROI 35.12%

Average points outlay per day = 2.12

Level 3:  130.66 points’ outlay, Profit 19.54 points = ROI 14.95%

Average points outlay per day = 2.97

It can be clearly seen that the outlay especially on Levels 1 and 2 is not that high to obtain 1 point profit, it must be said that the method has safeguards built in to protect the stakes from getting out of control, the FP Bot has them built in and you can adjust them to suit your comfort zone. I personally would use Level 1 as you get more action and losses are a lot lower but as a compromise Level 2 is good as well, the author of the system use Level 3 but I think for most of us the first 2 levels would be sufficient and would provide a steady income. Just to add all profits are shown at Betfair prices and commission has been accounted for in the calculations, although in my review I showed both ISP and BF the author recommends the latter and there was slight advantage during the trial.

So downsides the FP Bot costs 35 pounds a month, but if you have time in the afternoon the system comes with manual calculators which I have used as well. If doing the manual way you need to place your bets close to the off, around 10 seconds or so, I actually set the FP Bot to place bets 5 seconds before the start time. Once again there will

be variations in results on occasions, the results on the website are to Level 3 and depending of course when you do your calculations and place your bets. Another minor issue is that it is so consistent it is a shock when there is a losing day, you tend to get complacent.

So in conclusion based on what has happened over the 12 week review period I would recommend this system and award it four stars, as I have already said it might not suit some people but if you want to earn a steady profit with not much hassle then this could be for you. I personally prefer Levels 1 and 2 if you want to keep the stakes on the lower side, but once again that is up to the individual. So if you do purchase paper trade first read the manual especially for the FP Bot make sure your settings are correct.

Yes, definitely avoid level 3 to begin with. I was down nearly 40 pts after taking 2 losing days inside the first 3 weeks of subscription. On the point of giving up if I’m honest, as even without any further losses, low qualifying day percentages on level 3 would have meant it would have likely been Autumn time before I would have broken even again.

Anyhow, switched to level 1, which as Dave points out not only has far more qualifying days but also allows you to double your stakes (ie suddenly only 20 points to recover) and today managed to break even!

The Bot could be improved on though and I have pointed out a couple of issues such as no recognition of Saturday as a ‘no trading’ day to Matt, which he has acknowledged but no timescale for a fix as yet.
Bearing this in mind I took a real gamble and went away for 10 days just left the bot running on Level 1! As luck would have it the Saturday turned out to be over the qualifying limit, so the Bot didn’t bet and I came back from my holiday to find my account 7 points in profit. Not something I would risk doing again though until the Bot is fixed.

Anyhow feeling optimistic about FP and looking forward to finally getting into profit!

  2. Mike says:

Yep cautiously optimistic about FP. Doing level one and been lucky not to hit a losing day so up 10 points in 26 days. A few no bet days and lost some with the j-o-b.

Can’t see me using the bot at least for some time because of the cost.

Annoying today that my preferred Sporting Life live shows were not working for the first couple of races so no bet for me…but the MPL was over the max.

  3. Scotty says:

Agreed Mike, the Bot’s not cheap, but pretty much essential if you’re working. Also Potential Loss can fall considerably in the final few seconds before the start. – Mine is set to bet 10 secs before the off and cycle was started for a PL of 7.1 today. All finished by second race, so further advantage over manual selection there.

  4. johnny25 says:

would the saturdays included in the trial not have boosted the profit
more than it should be if saturday is a no trading day?

  5. The Commissioner says:

Had a few emails concerning the passing of this system. David did do a stringent review and elected for it to be classified as a passed system. I myself have no knowledge about the system but i will be getting to know it fully in the cming weeks now that my site is recommending it based on the past 84 days.

I have seen websites sending emails out about this after a 30 day review so Im quite happy to say that we have gone the extra few miles. Well David has.

Few concerns by email to me about it being loss recovery aswell but we all know the ones that fail are the ones that dont keep the strike rate that is required. Matt said to me on Skype last night that they havent had a losing year yet. That has to mean something. Look long term on this guys.

  6. Mike says:

    Hi Scotty

Agreed about the bot, I need to to get my stakes up to overcome the outlay. Like today, also have to balance the j-o-b days which makes for no bet.

In my short experience I generally find that getting close to BFSP can increase the MPL as some prices shorten, however you experience the opposite.

  7. Sgt Dave Sgt Dave says:

    Hi Folks
I have received some comments about why some of my results at times differ from the FP website well first of all they are to Level 3 only, secondly like all betting where you are going to place bets just before the off results will vary because of the time. I set my FP Bot to place bets 5 seconds off, we had one blogger who had settings of 40 to 50 seconds and wondered why our results were different once he changed to 10 seconds everything was fine. Even in the FP manual Matt the author says he places his bets approximately 1 minute before the off, even when using the manual calculators i go under one minute on the final check.
Now as for Johnny 25 comment about Saturdays they did give an extra boost 9 points on Level 1 and 8 points on the other two. Now in the manual and i quote ” Consider avoiding Saturdays and bank holidays”
“Statistically, Saturdays and bank holidays are just as profitable as any other day. Be aware however, that there is more racing on these days, and the chances of overlaps are significantly increased”. It only says consider its not a hard and fast rule, of course when i done the Saturday races i did check times, distance of the races etc to ensure there was no overlapping. You even have to watch for clashes during the week as well.
In my answer to various comments during the review i did mention my Bot settings and also that i work very close to start time even on manual. All i can do is report what happened during the 12 weeks of the review, my results are based on live findings, one site even done a review of FP using BFSP so worked out the results after racing, i do mine real time. Since the reviewed ended on May 31st i have used FP 7 days out of the last 8 and i have won on all them this was to Level 1. Yes FP is a Stop At Winner but it has safety features built in to stop it going crazy, of course this will not be to everyones taste i mentioned that in my Final Review.
FP is along term investment it makes consistent profits, of course i dont know whether it will hit a losing spell i cannot see into the future, but my passing was based on what achieved in 12 weeks. Three weeks after i passed Betfair Miracle it hit a bad patch for just under a week , but if you took from the end of my review to now it recovered from that and is now 15.47 in profit (All Selections) and 25.73 points up if you followed my advice on Main/Bankers.
Out of 11 reviews i have done so far only 2 have passed, 4 are in neutral, 4 jailed and 1 scammed, so i think that speaks for its self i am not an easy one to please. Hope this answers alot of your questions and concerns.

    Regards
    Sgt Dave

Mike said – “In my short experience I generally find that getting close to BFSP can increase the MPL as some prices shorten, however you experience the opposite.”

No you’re quite right Mike, I’m confusing things here – that is my general experience too. When I think more clearly about it, when I popped home for a bite of lunch yesterday around 12.30ish the MPL was well over 8, but I also noticed that the bot was currently omitting the first race as no definite favourite. Now quite often this does resolve and a definite favourite appears in the final few seconds before the off, which can reduce MPL as in these races odds are typically not so short.

But yes, just too be clear I agree that generally MPL does increase closer to the start of the betting cycle. – This is perhaps why Dave avoided the 28 point loss that myself and the system author encountered using level 3 on the 4th of May. As at that time I had set my Bot to trigger 50 seconds before the off.

  9. Scotty says:

Dave, do you think you could address Nick’s recent query regarding day 36, as I too am interested in why you thought April 13th was an unsuitable day for betting? It was my first day betting live with the bot – looked fine at the time, good spread of prices, no unqualifying races breaking the sequence, still looking good in retrospect?!

  10. johnny25 says:

Dave, thanks for a very thorough and honest review. I don’t know anything about bots but can pc be used for other sites whilst bot
    is running?

  11. Mike says:

    Hi Scotty

Yes many days are black and white decisions and no problem. There are others which are firmly slap bang in the middle and can change decisions to go or not to go right up to the wire.

I guess that this is the discipline factor and maybe best to think tomorrow is another day. I’m assuming that if the bot encounters middle ground areas it doesn’t play?

    Cheers
    Mike

  12. Mike says:

    Hi Johnny25

I have used bots in the past and they are a programme which works away in the background not stopping any other use of your machine.

I believe its possible to rent a virtual server to do this for you but of course more dosh going out!

My internet connection is reasonable but it does have days when it conspires against me.

    All the best
    Mike

  13. Sgt Dave Sgt Dave says:

    Hi Johnny25
I do loads of stuff while the FP Bot is running at the moment I also have Betting Assistant, LOF Bot, also going plus lots of webpages and there is absolutely no problems with it.

    HI Scotty
Sorry mate i am going to answer Nicks question now , sorry hectic and i am under the weather but as they say the show must go on.

    Hi Mike
Absolutely right mate its all down to the wire , we all know how crazy BF goes 5 minutes before the off right up until they actually start. Thats why you have to leave it as late as you can and unfortunately any method or system will vary in its results if it involves just before the off.
Thats why when we do lay system i would normally work to BFSP, but in the case of FP i had the manual calculators and i had access to the FP Bot so it was a real live trial.

    Sgt Dave

Still going well but had my first close call on level1….Got to the last race before the winner thankfully came in..phew!

  15. Scotty says:

    Dave,

Just wondering are you still sticking with level 1?

    Cheers

  16. MikeL says:

    Hi Scotty

I started on 19th May with FP level1. Still going well with no losing days. Missed a few with the j-o-b…How about you? Very optimistic about this one.

I guess it was Murphy Syndrome that level 3 didn’t do so well on the trial so I’m not sure if I should go with level 3 as I have been lucky with level 1.

    Cheers
    MikeL

  17. Sgt Dave Sgt Dave says:

    Hi Scotty
Yes i am still on Level 1 had one losing day since the end of the trial it cost me around 4 points but even then i am up at least 10 points up and i missed a few days as well. Really i do not see the need to go to the other Levels at the moment.

    Hi Mike L
Why do you want to switch to Level 3 if you are making money on Level 1 , “if it is not broke don’t fix it ” is the motto here. This is a great little system and the FP Bot is a very solid piece of software, the biggest problem is get so used to winning with it that when you get the occassional loss it is a bit of a shock.

    Regards

    Sgt Dave

  18. MikeL says:

    Hi Sgt Dave

Know exactly what you mean about “if it ain’t broke”.

Having been with it for nearly 2 months I began to think it would be worth going to the statistically better chance of more profit on level 3 but the trial quickly showed how this can work against us…..but then again I’ve not yet hit a losing day.

What is your opinion on the advanced staking?

I’m still not using the bot as my stakes would not yet justify it. The ideal way would be to play much bigger and use a virtual server to relieve the angst of internet connections and power cuts (like we had yesterday!)

    Cheers
    MikeL

  19. Scotty says:

Yep, I had another bit of ‘bad luck’ with the bot on July 5th. It is set to start cycle 10 secs before the off and somehow got me in at PL of 7.4, yet ended up losing 11.5 points! Weird as Matt sent an email later that day informing folk that the level 1 PL was 10.4 just before the off so the MPL of 8 had saved everyone! Clearly his bot decided it was a no betting day.. But apart from that unpleasant set back, and a smaller loss back in June, it’s been all good.

MikeL – 100% so far!! blimey I’ve had 4 losses, 3 pretty substantial and I’m still in profit., – So you must be thinking early retirement!

My concern about level 1 is as much as I’m enjoying it, if Matt’s
stats are anything to go by, then the level 1 strike rate has been well above the long term mean (in fact it’s been nigh on as good as the level 3 strike rate), so are we due a correction?

  20. MikeL says:

Scotty…. LOL, I wish ;o) My stats are total of 38 betting days so far with 3 races getting to the last one for level 1. My bank has doubled using a ratchet up but slowly.

Not using the bot which has both +’s and -’s. Sometimes no bet days can rapidly become betting days etc.

Hoping to get a little further before I hit a losing day.

Our old friend…probability! just gotta keep going I suppose.

    Cheers
    MikeL

  21. Lisa says:

Hi,I have tried to subscribe to the FP system,I have sent Matt a couple of emails but no reply. Could you please let me know if this system is making profit? Cheers Lisa.

  22. Lisa says:

Hi,Can someone please explain to me,why I have sent several emails to Matt Watson to subscribe to Favourites Phenonemen. And he does not have the courtesy of replying? Cheers.Lisa.

  23. MikeL says:

    Hi Lisa

I expect you have spotted the positive comments here and of course FP has been given 4*’s by Sgt Dave.

Yes I am very hopeful for long term profits with FP. It is mathematically very sound.

    Cheers

  24. The Commissioner says:

Hi Lisa Matt the last time I spoke to him was in Canada but he does reply eventually. I have not seen him on skype either for a number of days. I hear customer service is usually very good. Im sure he will be in touch soon.

  25. johnny25 says:

    Hi Lisa,
I’ve also e – mailed Matt but no reply! I see he doesn’t use paypal
now for some reason. Maybe he has enough clients.

  26. Lisa says:

Hi,Has anybody heard from Matt,I am still waiting for a reply to subscribe ? Cheers.

  27. Sgt Dave Sgt Dave says:

    Hi Lisa
Matt had problems with the Paypal but it is fixed now, so anyone wishing to purchase Favourites Phenomenon or LOF can now do so.

    Sgt Dave

  28. Scotty says:

Ouch, correction arrived! and once again on all 3 levels. Only 2 favourities home out of 24 so far today and 1 of those heavily odds 0n. Feel sorry for anyone using repeating cycles with FP today!

  29. Sgt Dave Sgt Dave says:

    Hi Scotty
Thats only the 3rd Losing Day in the last 46 betting days since my review ended in total the 3 losing days have cost me 13.37 points that an average of 4.44 points per losing day. I am still nearly 30 points in profit for the period so not much to worry about, unfortunately a losing day has to happen now and then.

    Regards
    Sgt Dave

  30. MikeL says:

    Hi All

Ditto ;o( It had to happen….this was day 47 and my first loser so no complaining. Down about a weeks betting so maybe lost a few more points than Dave.

Need to get in front again before the next one. Onwards and upwards.
    MikeL
