Tennis Picks – Days 17 to 28

Sgt Colin reviews Tennis Picks

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the continued review of Tennis Picks, which as the name suggests is a tennis tipping service.

We’d made a great start, but had lost some of the early gains

Day 17 – 1st May

Two selections

Troiki v Stepanek. 3% of bank on Troiki @ 1.91. A 2 straight winner.

Fognini v Lorenzi, Fognini – 3.5 games, 2% @ 1.72. Fognini wn, but by a single game – so this went down.

Day 18 – 2nd May

Seppi v Falla – Falla +4 games, 1% @ 1.78. Seppi destroyed him by 8 games, so a loser

Monfils v Brands, Monfils -2.5 games, 2% @ 1.93. Brands won in 3 sets, so a losing day.

Day 19 – 3rd May

Carreno-Busta v Fognini. Over 21 games, 2% @ 1.83. A comfortable winner, 29 games played.

Seppi v Robredo. Robredo to win, 2% @ 1.8. Seppi continued to be a thorn in our side, winning 2 straight against the odds.

Haas v Mayer. Haas – 4 games, 2% @ 1.76. Haas strolled through 12 games to 5.

Day 20 – 4th May

Brands v Kohlschreiber. K to win – 3% @ 1.61. This was close, but Kohlschreiber landed our bet in the decider.

Day 21 – 5th May

Haas v Kohlschreiber. A close match predicted, 2% staked on over 21.5 games @ 1.71. We again scraped through – 22 games played.

Chardy v Zeballos. Chardy backed to win, 2% @ 1.63. He did 2 straight – making it 4 successive winning bets.

Day 22 – 6th May

Lopez v Gimeno-Traver. Lopez +1.5 games, 1% @ 1.833. Lost by half a game, as Gimeno-Traver won by 2 games.

Isner v Garcia-Lopez. 4% staked on Isner to win @ 1.63 – which he did 2 straight.

Day 23 – 7th May

Haas v Seppi. 2% on Haas to win @ 1.58. He did, again 2 straight.

Isner v Andujar. 4% on Isner to follow up yesterday’s win @ 1.54. Andujar sprang a surprise here, winning 2 straight.

Day 24 – 8th May

Paire v Nadal. 1% on Paire +6.5 games @ 2.2. Good odds on this one – and Paire lost by 5 games – so a good winner.

Haas v Robredo. 2% on Haas -2.5 games @ 1.85. Haas won 13 to 8, so another win

Troiki v Nishikori. 2% on Troiki +4.5 games @ 1.89. Nishikori was too good, winning 13 to 7 – so a loss.

Day 25 – 9th May

Haas v Ferrer. 1% on Haas +3 games @ 2.02. Haas took Ferrer all the way, and lost by 2 games – so a win for us.

Dmitrov v Wawrinka. 2% on Stan @ 1.54 (banking on a hangover from Dmitrov’s win over Djokevic). It worked – but it was mighty close.

Day 26 – 10th May

Wawrinka v Tsonga. 2% on over 22.5 games @ 1.75. An easy win, as this lasted 31 games.

Murray v Berdych. The same bet, at 1.91. Berdych won 2 straight – but the match comprised 23 games, so we scraped through.

Day 27 – 11th May

Nadal v Andujar. 1% on Andujar+7 games @ 1.57. Nadal proved far too strong, and the bet lost by a game

Day 28 – 12th May

Isner v Istomin. 1% on Isner -2.5 games @ 1.86. Istomin proved a tough nut to crack and won in 3 sets.

So a very good set of results, with 36.6 points gained – although the hit rate slipped to 62%.

Staking plan: Opening Bank: 500 points Gain to date: 92.6 Closing 592.6. Staked 736.6. ROI 13%.  Hit rate 62%
