There were two sets of three selections for Sunday. One set began on Saturday where Nice and Saint Etienne were both tipped and won. Lille was required to win with a -1 goal handicap the next day to complete all 3 singles and a treble but they had a bad match and were beaten 2-0 by Caen.
In the next set of picks, tips from Switzerland, Germany and Austria came to very disappointing conclusions as all three ended as draws. The match between Basel and Lugano being the only one to see any goals and ending 1-1. That detracted from any profit from the previous set and left us with a loss for the day.
