Well, all good things must come to an end, as they say, even though we hope it will only be temporary!
We had two selections today:
1245 Bangor – Douglas Julian
1330 Newbury – Rimini
For the first time in the trial, both selections won, at Betfair SPs of 4.50 and 8.00 giving us a big loss for the day of £1.050.00 or 10.50 points at level stakes. This has wiped out all of our profits to date, leaving us with a loss to date of -£385.00 or -3.85 points. I have some sympathy with the author, as we have lost so much racing due to the weather, but results are results and that’s where we stand. Let’s hope that things pick up again soon.
