D G Tips Review Day 22

22nd November 2017

Sgt Mick Review

Dear Member
Great to get back in the winners enclosure with Fayez winning at a huge 14-1. We also had Rose Berry place 2nd in the race prior, she was unlucky not to win really after blowing the start.
Rose Berry ran a big race for 2nd. She blew the start and as a result had far too much to do, the winner got first run by a good 4l’s so the fact Rose Berry was only beaten 1/2l highly suggests we were on the right horse. Still each way returns and another place to add an annoying list since last Friday.
Medici Banchiere was heavily backed down to 5-1 but was never travelling, not sure why but that wasn’t his true running.
Fayez ran out a big winner today at 14-1. He has really progressed since switched to an AW surface and was given a superb ride by Tudhope.
Middle Kingdom ran well enough in 4th but I don’t really understand why they led on him. He needs covering up so this made very little sense to me.
Tips for Wednesday 22nd November, 2017

6.40 Kempton – Accidental Agent 7-2 widely available/So Beloved 9-1 widely available
Both 0.5pts E/W
Accidental Agent  unp.-£10     So Beloved unp -£10
This is a fantastic renewal of this race and for me two make plenty of appeal. I see Accidental Agent as the most likely winner, he has improved massively in recent starts and that improvement was sparked by a scintillating win over this C and D. He put the race to bed in a matter of strides and the visual impression was very impressive. He has backed that up with three huge runs in better company and now returned to the AW this race looks an ideal opportunity. It will take some winning but he has the draw and has the course form which stands for a lot on the AW scene. I am also quite keen to have So Beloved on side, he has raced just once on an AW surface back in 2014 however it was a winning run and I just get the impression that he could be well suited by this mile trip around Kempton. His form at Goodwood shows he likes running right handed and his recent form is by far and away the best on offer. He is a head strong, keen type that needs to settle. We see this sort of horse prosper on the AW a lot as the bend forces them to settle and the big fields allow them to sit in behind off a strong pace. His chance has grown due to the draw in stall 4 and Tudhope knows exactly how to ride him. He is quirky but if given a good ride then he could take some beating in here which makes his price look lenient enough. I am going to go each way on both as I can see AA drifting before the off.
7.40 Kempton – Cliff Face 12-1 widely available/Yamarhaba Malayeen 10-1 widely available
Both 0.5pts E/W
Cliff Face  2nd returned £17/  Yamarhaba Malayeen unp -£10
A good race to round of the card and two make appeal in here. Firstly Cliff Face is back to try and repeat last year’s victory in this race. He is only running of a 4lb higher mark than last year but gets blinkers on the first time which should always be noted for this shrewd yard. His best form has come over this C and D and a return tomorrow should hopefully spark an improved performance in relation to his last few starts. Tudhope also has an interesting ride in here on board the Michael Bell trained Yarmarhaba Malayeen. He put in a pleasing performance over this C and D last time out in what was quite a hot race for the grade. He was ridden that day with restraint to see if he got the trip and as a result we can upgrade the performance in my opinion. He has been dropped 2lb by the handicapper and also takes a drop in grade tomorrow. He should go very well and Tudhope is one of the best jockeys to have on side.
Good Luck
