D G Tips Review Day 61

Sgt Mick Review

31st December

Dear Member
Some weeks you just get the impression that no matter what you do it just isn’t going to go right. We sit currently 50pts up for the month and that’s the main thing. A few losing days happen from time to time, it is quite clear we were on at least two correct horses today. Some luck they both win but we have had some great luck this month so I guess we were due some bad. Take it on the chin and move on. One day of the month and year left. It has been a fantastic month and a fantastic year so let’s end it with a winner!
Reckless Endeavour ran on strongly in the final furlong to finish 3rd. Quite clear we were on the right horse but what can you do. We will have to settle for each way returns. This is racing and you need a little luck combined with a good ride. Costello wasn’t forceful enough early on in gaining a better position despite breaking smartly and that meant the horse was left with too much to do and was always running into the back of horses. It’s not tough to work out the errors which have seen this horse beat.
Stellarta was awful, never travelled a yard and for that reason made Marquand’s job very difficult. He was hampered early on but I’m not sure that made much difference. A bad tip.
Tigerfish was heavily backed into 7-1. She ran on well to finish 4th which most bookmakers (pretty much all the major ones) paid but I decided to scrap extra places a while ago due to customer complaints (even I got paid 4places on this). Most tipsters will happily take extra place profit daily so be wary of this.
I felt both Luke Morris and Robert Winston were superb on board the 1-2. Hollie rode Tigerfish very well I can’t have any complaints.
Granville Island tanked through the race but two bad jumps when he was cruising into contention has really cost him. He has finished 4th but that means nothing to us. In tune with how this week has gone, some poor luck costing us that vital place money.
Not much more I can do here. Beepeecee would have easily won this race with a clear run. He actually goes 1l in front of the winner still on the bridle before being denied a clear run for the whole final furlong. He has finished still on the bridle and it is clear he would have won. Attain was too far back but still ran on well.
Tips for Sunday 31st December, 2017

1.45 Lingfield- Mystique Moon 7-4 widely available/Brex Drago 12-1 widely available
1pt win
 Mystique Moon  Fin Unp -£10
0.5pts E/W Brex Drago Fin Unp -£10
Mystique Moon could be absolutely thrown in here. His maiden form is so strong and if he performs anywhere near that level then he should go very close. I have no idea why he has been off for so long but we saw earlier today that Godolphin can ready one to be race fit and of what looks a lenient mark it wouldn’t surprise me if this one is fully wound up. He has a good draw and should take advantage. If there is to be an outsider run well then Brex Drago ticks a lot of boxes. A strongly run 1m should suit on recent evidence and the fact he stays further than this should only be seen as a bonus. He has a handy draw and if he can get the start right then his stamina in the finish should see him go close.
2.15 Lingfield- Bridge Builder 5-1 widely available/Strategic Heights 6-1 widely available   Bridge Builder Fin Unp  -£10       Strategic Heights Fin 2nd Return £11.50
Both 0.5pts E/W
elections
Bridge Builder returns to a handicap here of potentially what looks a very lenient mark. He is very well handicapped and he ran to a good level in a claimer last time out. He has a good record over this C and D which is an obvious bonus and his front running style in a race lacking pace should see him get an easy time of it up front. Also Strategic Heights is interesting with the visor applied first time. This horse has responded positively to new head gear before and he is down to a very workable mark. He fluffed his lines at Southwell last time out but before that he ran well at Wovles. That run has been franked since and from a handy draw if he doesn’t give them too much of a lead then he could easily take this.
Good Luck
4 selections in 2 races today resulting in just one placed horse. Stakes £40 return £11.50 A loss of £28.50. Results for the last few days have been poor but are affordable given the profit which has been generated over the past few months. I have to say that I have never come across a system or information that does not have it’s losing phases, nor have I ever seen such results with this consistency as from this tipster. There is no reason to think that this will not continue in the future. So hopefully we will experience the same in 2018. Wishing everyone a Happy new year.
