11 April

A huge competition this week with seven bets at the US Masters at the Augusta National in Georgia. Unfortunately six of the selections failed to get into the frame, although we did pick out the winner of the competition, Charl Schwartzel, who won his 72-hole match bet with Fred Couples.

The best the rest could achieve was a tie in 11th place by Justin Rose, followed by Martin Laird (tied on 20th), last year’s winner Phil Mickelson (tied on 27th), Ricki Fowler (tied on 38th) and Nick Watney who finished 46th. The remaining 72-hole match bet was won Ian Poulter who finished tying on 27th, who beat our selection, Anthony Kim, who did not make the cut.

Overall a loss of 28 points in the final week of this review, but making a small profit in total.

Apologies for the brevity of this report, I just wanted to get the basic details of the competition off to you before swanning off on my travels until next weekend.
