One Good Bet Review Day 41

Another day with no “official” selections. The following comment was posted by the
author on the selections web page today.

I quite like the chances of two horses running at Ascot today. Unfortunately the latter
race has too many runners (currently 15) to make it a system bet. Anyway, for the record
they are:
3-05 Ascot Green Moon
4-25 Ascot Rainbow Peak
I may decide to break the rules and have a small wager regardless. Other than those
two, nothing else I can find of real interest today.

The first comment disturbs me. To say ” I quite like the chances etc” suggests too much
personal judgement is being used and not simply following the system rules. I am
beginning to think the rules are there to be broken which means there are no rules and
therefore no system. So basically you would simply be buying into a personal tipping
service (which has flopped so far to date) rather than a proven system.
Maybe Mr. Hibbert just got lucky last season and is being caught out this year?
Anyway his judgement about today’s picks failed again with the first runner unplaced
although Rainbow Peak won at 13/8.
