There were seven matches to consider today. I also emailed the author, Michael, today to clarify the position regarding Favourites when they are the away team. He included advice on today’s matches and all the others were discounted on various criteria, leaving me with Chelsea away. Although it didn’t exactly fulfill two of the selection advices in the manual, it was the best fit, so I took it. As soon as Sunderland scored, I was cursing the advice from Michael! Chelsea founght back and by half time we were in profit. Actually there was more profit available when they went 1-2 up in the first half and it didn’t really make sense to follow the advice and wait until half-time. Sure enough Sunderland equalised and so the profit was less at half time than it had been earlier.
Anyway, a profitable day! I still remain to be convinced that a good profit can always be made when the first half goes the way it is expected to go. I keep getting games that go the unexpected way!
