Hi Bloggers,

McDowell knocking into the water from the middle of the 18th fairway was gun to the head time on Sunday night. I know from your emails and messages many of you felt as bewildered as I did. A few neighbours were woken I expect, it was the stupidest shot on a difficult hole and it cost him third place. If he got the birdie he would have been joint second it’s not like he could win!

Believe me it feels the golfing gods are against us but it will turn and we will have something drop our way, starting this week hopefully
