Triple H Horseracing – Days 1 to 7

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the results from the first week’s review of the results from Triple H Horseracing.  I will be reviewing the results of the selection service – but will also include any additional bets I select using the system which were not provided by Zen.

I will be monitoring two separate sets of results – referred to as Versions 1 & 2 – resulting from different classes of handicap race, and the use of both level staking and a recommended staking plan for each.

As mentioned in the introduction, this is not a service which you can bet on using Betfair or Starting Prices, so you might need to be at the computer and make the bet as soon as the selection is received, otherwise the advised odds will shorten. I’ll highlight where we have winners where the odds I could achieve were below those advised, and keep a separate record. That isn’t to say that the advised odds were unobtainable – just that I have other things to do with my life!

So, how has the service done:

Day 1, 19th January

2 selections, two losers. Applied to both Version 1 & Version 2 of the system.

Staking Plan (-12 points), Level stakes (-4 points)

Day 2, 20th January

6 selections, 3 in one race. A winner @ 25-1, and a second @ 12-1, so a profitable day. Two of the losing bets didn’t apply to Version 2.

V1 – Staking Plan +21.25 points, Level Stakes +25.25 points, V2 – Staking Plan +27.25, Level stakes +29.25

Day 3 21st January

4 selections for both versions. 3 losers & 1 place bet @ 25-1 advised. Using advised odds that gives a 0.75 point loss to level stakes, 14.75 point loss to staking Plan. I didn’t achieve the advised odds, losing a further 1.25 points on each staking plan.

Day 4 22nd January

7 selections, with 3 horses selected in 2 races (one of which was excluded for Version 2). The single selection was advised at 20-1, and it won, having come in to 8.5 SP! None of the others placed.

Staking Plan V1+14 points V2 +26 points, Level stakes V1 +13 points, V2 +19 points

I also selected a horse independently – it applied to V1 only and it came 2nd @ 10-1, making 1.75 points to level stakes, 7 points with the staking Plan.

Day 5 23rd January

No selections (although there were race meetings)

Day 6 24th January

6 selections, only 3 applied to Version 2. 2 winners from those 6, at 10-1 & 16-1. The first only applied to Version 1.

Staking Plan V1+81.6 points V2 +43.6 points, Level stakes V1 +23.2 points, V2 +15.2 points

As earlier, I only got 9-1 on the first horse, losing 1.2 points to level stakes, 4.8 to advised stakes on V1. A cracking day in any event!

Day 7 25th January

Just one selection – a loser. 2 points down on level stakes, 8 points on staking plan, both versions.

So how does that look after a week?

These represent a truly exceptional start, with a 15% hit rate for win bets and a 26% hit rate for place bets at very high odds. It’s difficult to see that this can continue over the full trial, but hey, who can tell?
