Sgt Steve here, I have previously done reviews on LTO for Sports Betting Professor and Racing Tipsters and more recently Place Bet Pro, Cricket Tipster, Golf Betting Profits, ProBall, Hardcourt Heroes and Gambling Don. Anyway, my name is Steve and I’m 43 years old and live in Melbourne, Australia. I have been interested in betting on horses for over 20 years now and have picked up sports betting as well in the past 5 or so years. I started doing sports arbitrage full time about 6 years ago and then moved to the UK and was trading horse racing for a couple of years. Back in Australia now and am still betting in my spare time and follow a couple of systems that seem reasonably good but haven’t yet led me to the Holy Grail, betting being my source of income, which is my ultimate goal. Well my ultimate goal is to get my golf handicap into single figures but you get the gist, one thing follows another.
On to the real introduction, Race Profits Australia is one of many tipping services offered through BetFan. It is offered by a guy called Jon Roberts who claims “the fascination of finding winning horses has become a major part of my life, led to making some amazing insider contacts and ultimately the unveiling of this exciting new service… “RPA – Race Profits Australia”.
“My RPA service has come about after huge amount of trial and error in developing a formula that could make healthy profits from backing Australian horse racing. It’s fine tuned to the point where I am willing to share the selections with a small audience of others who are equally as passionate about beating the bookies with winning bets”.
The system uses three types of important criteria.
1 – A bespoke formula for identifying most likely ‘improvers’ on their next outing.
2 – Information is cross referenced this against a ‘base rating’ I have to ensure they still have enough improvement left in the rating.
3 – Lastly I ensure the selections are running a few certain types of race to ensure they are properly qualified with the right conditions for success.
The whole formula is based on Australian Horse Racing. Selections will generally be sent out between 10.30 pm – 12.30 am UK time.
He offers a free 7 day trial. If you’re 100% happy you’ll simply be subscribed to the Race Profits Australia service on a 28 day (£40 per month) or 90 day (£90) subscription.
So in a nutshell we are subscribing to a tipping service that sends us tips via email every day and we just back them to advised stakes. Bets are advised to a certain amount of points and I will use a starting bank of 300 points (as advised) for the purpose of this review. I will be using Victorian TAB tote prices for the purpose of this review, happy to be guided though if anyone wants alternate prices (bookmaker prices are fairly weak in Australia and Betfair doesn’t have the UK volumes). Prices only normally go up 20 minutes before a race during the week so would be hard to monitor at work etc.
