Arbitrage Spy Scam Review

Arbitrage Spy Scam?

Arbitrage SpyOn Tuesday the 24th August Arbitrage Spy will be released as a pre launch. The first e-mail you will receive will tell the story behind Arbitrage Spy with an inticing video…After the video you will be redirected to the sales page…

I received an email Invite for the launch of Arbitrage Spy to which I replied… My reply is detailed after…

Hey James,

We are launching a major betting product next week called Arbitrage Spy.

It’s an arbitrage betting software that will find surebets/arbitrages and
let you place bets with a click of the mouse. Super fast and super
efficient. Users will either make money or make nothing, but never lose a

So was hoping you could join in and help us out with some promos!

We have all other main vendors and big hitters on board so should be great

I replied to Chris asking for permission to use the software first hand before launch so that we can give it our thumbs up or thumbs down as the case may be. Maybe we got no responce because letting us see the disaster that could be “Arbitrage spy” might ruin their pretty launch?  Or maybe they are simply too busy to deal with Joint Venture partners that in essence will be the making of their launch…

So far after 2 emails we have not heard back so we have not been able to confirm their allegations. Sometimes if a product claims to offer a way to make money without any risk we will usually be able to spot this in a few days of testing and we can then give it our blessing. These reviews turn out to be more of an appraisal than a review because of the nature of the product. In this case we cannot at the moment give you any kind of run down so it looks like we will have to wait until launch day like every one else, which means you will have to wait 2-3 days for us to get to grips with it before we let you know if its a scam or worth your hard earned pennies. This is frustrating as many of you will probably go ahead and purchase having being pulled in by the tricky sales pitch… As a review site committed to the cause there is nothing we can do about that. What I can say is we will let you know as soon as we know if its worth what they are asking for it.

Arbitrage Spy and whats it all about?

So what do I already know about the Arbitrage Spy software and what are they claiming the software is able to do?

Arbitrage Spy is an acclaimed unique betting software that lets you capitalize on the odd differences between different bookmakers.

Normally such a strategy would be hard to use manually, but this software scans several bookmakers and finds the odd differences automatically. Then all that’s left to do is for you to place the bets with these bookmakers.

After reading this sentence what jumps out at me immediatly is that there is still the huge risk associated with Arbitrage betting and thats after you place one bet the bet disappears on the other side. I have asked some questions to the Arbitrage Spy team which cover this scenario to which I am obviously still waiting for a reply.

Arbitrage Spy is almost entirely automated, the only manual task is placing the bets that the software opens for you.

This ensures a winning rate of 100% – you can either win, or break even due to the differences in odds.

Ok so this was my second question. For what reason can we not lose money. Are my questions being dodged because this is the big secret with the software?

The software is constantly tweaked and updated so that it works with most major bookmakers online.

My other concern is that the bookies have ways of flagging up arbers. Accounts will be shut down and limited very quickly in my opinion so I would say if you can get your investment back out in profit made, plus say another 500% you would have made a worthwhile investment. Only time will tell.

You don’t need any experience to use this software, it does everything for you – once it finds an opportunity, you can simply place the bets. The only requirement is that you will have to create the accounts beforehand.

Arbitrage Spy comes at £47.00 (about $73) and has a 60-day money back guarantee. It is sold through Clickbank so you can be assured that you would get the money back guarantee if something goes wrong.

I will update further on the 24th and again when needed. I will also look at getting the software reviewed for at least 56 days. Thats if the owners want to play ball. I think they will because they contacted me first.

Just bought this product from click bank and I am unable to get onto the website to download or access the system. Stay away from this it sounds and looks very much like a scam.

  • Sgt Rich says:

    @Mick Birdsall:
HI Mick, if you bought it through Clickbank, contact them and ask for your refund. As far as I know they will give you your money back. Don’t try doing it through Arbitrage Spy.

  • Mick Birdsall says:

Bought this software. Took ages to gain access to it as it kept saying my subscription had expired even though I had only bought it two days before. After two months and 15 emails later I am still trying to get a refund. Absolute load of rubbish and not to trusted.

  • Piotr says:

PLease dont buy it, does not work…. i made the same mistake as some of You here… All the best Piotr

  • erniee says:

wah i spent almost an hour typing my comments here. and they tell me the captcha code cannot detect or wad. I FREAKING TYPE THEM IN CORRECTLY..

basically, even if all this works, processing fees and processing time just kills all ur profits when trasnfering funds here and thhere. be it depositing and withdrawing because ur profit margine is already so low.

with all this fees u are already in the reds whether a not u bet.

    pls commment.

    Admin Foreword

Before you read this positive review of The Arb Spy please consider that Nick Ling has never posted on here before about any review and this is his first ever posting. Comments such as these should be treated with utmost suspicion because 99.9% of revies about Arb Spy have been Scam where people are not getting what was promised and even the 60 day money back guarantee is not being adhered to. Arb Spy is considered as one of the ugliest scams a going and one to stay well away from.

I have been using Arbitrage Spy for a couple of days and my experiences have been totally different to those posted here. I have been able to successfully place 4 trades, all of which made a small profit. I lost on a 5th trade, but that was my fault as I backed rather than layed on Betfair. Odds obtained have usually been close to what the software says. If the odds change, you just have to enter the new odds to calculate the new bets. I don’t take arbs on horses with odds greater than 5.00 meaning that the lay prices will usually shorten giving you a better chance of getting the required odds. Admittedly, I am an experienced Betfair bettor and know the ins and outs of Betfair betting which helps me get the prices I want.

  • Site Admin James Betting System Guru says:

Harold, as mentiond before here, email and tell them that many users are having the same problem with this scam outfit and James Fitzmaurice from Betting System Truths is doing all he can to get clickbank to close down their account as they have also tried to impersonate betting system truths. Ask them for a full refund.

  • Harold Smart says:

Can log on OK, but as others say, Bets not matchable.
Have applied 4 times for refunds (Bought extra advanced system), still no refund from clickbank as Chris Archer keeps reverting to “technical support”

  • Muzzy says:

I did the same thing as Mariya. Thanks Marija. Went straight to Clickbank customer services and they send me an e-mail stating that I will be refunded. It will take 3-4 days for refund to show in my account. I think Clickbank know that this guy is con and so they are quick to refund the money. I then get another e-mail from ” Mr. Archer” saying I won’t be able to login to Arbitrage Spy and how they are coming out with an upgrade. He is trying to repackage a rubbish product!

  • Marija says:

I want to inform you all that I finally received my refund from Clickbank (after 13 back and forth requests, not to mention previous e-mails with “Chris Archer”)).I did it differently this time, I went to Help section and sent my complains to customer service and just got an email confirming they have approved it. So there is some hope, guys, don’t give up!

  • Muzzy says:

I am facing the same problem as Marija. All I was getting first was excuses now the vendor is changing tickets to Tech Support from Refund. Not even leaving comments. I told him if he was making all the money claimed on the website he shouldn’t have any problems refunding my money. I think I may have been robbed.

  • Marija says:

I wish I read your comments before… I was able to log in but never got any arbs opportunities. Never. I got several emails how they s***** up and I should be patient and wait for even better system/software whatever… to be launched. While disputing this with “Mr Archer” and clickbank, as you already stated, they are just returning my ticket to the vendor. On the last occasion vendor didn’t even bother to write any comment, just returned my ticket to Tech Support. and it looks like I will never get my refund.

  • stevfe says:

Do not buy this it does not work and the A hole continuously changes any refund request tickets into tech support with text stating how they want to help blah blah its a scam without any doubt. Eventually logged as a paypal dispute in the hope of getting my cash back from these idiots.

  • Sam says:

I bought arbitragespy a few days ago and this is true that this is a scam. Most of the selections are never at the price the software gives you.
I asked for a refund but I never get an answer. As everyone says, because it is through clickbank, we can be assured to get a refund… But…
To get my refund, should I contact clickbank? What’s the best way to get my refund? TNX

  • Site Admin James Betting System Guru says:

Your right this is a scam, and the people behind it are the same people that are impersonating Betting System Truths in spam emails to thousands of people. The website failed the scam busting checks as most do and also failed an actual product test. One of the biggest scams a going.

  • melvyn says:

After trying this product a few more days I can only conclude this is 100% scam. As per Paul’s comments above it is quite likely that the normal and advanced versions are one and the same… Also note the username / password for the login… The username looks suspicious relating to clickbank and the version number – ie we all have the same username and passwords! A little investigation shows that the current refund rate back through Clickbank is currently 100% – that is a pretty impressive achievement by anyones standards! Of course the domain is hidden behind a Go Daddy name without any registrant details – wanting to hide? Surely not!

Well I have tried several times to get a refund but the vendor (whatever their real names are) keep closing the tickets with BS replies about new versions to keep the game going – presumably until the buyer gives up or goes beyond the 60 day Clickbank guarantee window… The next time it is closed it will be escalated to Clickbank… To any reading this still undecided upon whether or not to purchase – at best you will get your money back after some time and hassle… At worst you will lose your money… One thing for absolute certain is that with this software you will never make a penny…

  • John says:

Bought this software for about a week I have not been able to login to the system. I have contacted their support with several emails but no reply.

I have contacted clickbank for full refund. This software does not work. It is complete waste of money.

Do not purchase if you are trying to.

  • Rene says:

    Hi Guys,
i bet this is the latest scam from the rochdale gang. cheap sales page (of course very well written like all products of them). I smelled it that it’s likely to be a trap but hoped to be wrong. guess what….i wasnt wrong!

Just look at the reviews from so called beta testers. The name where my alarm clocks started to ring was Kris Jackman. One of the rochdale members.

It also seems to appear that Mr Archer has got many many refunds to payback and dealt with clickbank which they really do!!

tried it now the third time to get back my money from these bloody gangsters.

he states that 1000’S of members jumped on board for this nice software. so let’s assume it really works and find arbs in the way they tell. do you really think that it can work? in the area with horse racing arbitrage 10 people have to fight for the advised odds. It was again a mistake from me to buy such a product from them.

    hopefully i get the refund

  • Paul says:

Made the mistake of purchasing this garbage on day one, knowing that if the software didn’t live up to the hype a full refund would be available from Clickbank. Unlike Melvyn & Gilles, I chose not to go for the upsell ‘Advanced’ version.

I tried using the software the same morning with very similar results to Melvyn & Gilles. In his sales page, Chris Archer (the developer) describes the program as:

“Push-Button Software That Puts This Unique ‘Arbitrage’ Secret On Complete Autopilot!”

    He also states:

“Once you put this software into action, you won’t need…“Luck” – there’s no gambling whatsoever because Arbitrage Spy only places bets when you’re 100% guaranteed to make a profit…”

However, even if the arbs were available at the prices notified, the software requires monitoring while ever it is running and all bets have to be placed manually. Hardly complete autopilot!

I requested a refund the same day, but Mr Archer seems very reluctant to comply with my request. I escalated my Clickbank refund request, but it was passed back to the vendor & closed by him without a refund with lots of bull***t about a new version coming out soon. Chris Archer has also sent me an email, part of which reads,

“- The version you have is the advanced Arbitrage Spy software, so don’t worry about not having that.

    – Our product does have a 80-90% Strike rate, meaning 80-90% of the time you’ll profit, and other times you’ll breakeven, but not lose a dime.”

I have 2 major concerns with the above:

    1) Although I did not purchase the ‘advanced’ version, Mr Archer tells me that this is the version I have. Melvyn & Gilles, in their posts, state that they paid the additional £47 plus tax for the ‘advanced’ version & presumably got the same version as me.

    2) The sales page states that Arbitrage Spy only places bets when you’re 100% guaranteed to make a profit…”, yet in his email to me Mr Archer states that the product has an 80% to 90% strike rate.

I agree with the BSG that this is a complete scam. As far as legalities are concerned, I’d be very surprised if Chris Archer’s internet sales page does not breach UK advertising codes. However, he’s probably holed up in some place where he won’t be worrying about UK advertising codes.

I can’t believe that Chris Archer has actually admitted to me in his email that he provided me with the the upsell ‘advanced’ version even though I’d only paid £47 plus tax for the standard version. Can we presume this is the same for everyone? Only one version, but an enticing upsell page offering “15 additional betting exchanges” rakes him in an additional £47, but he provides the same software to everyone?

Not got my refund yet, but I won’t give up till I have!

  • Gilles says:

Hello everybody. Like Melvyn I also bought the Arb Spy advanced upsell on Tuesday 24th Aug. and immediately after launching the software I got the same impression that the upsell and the simple version are the same .
After 5 days of checking the proporse Arbs by the software aren’t woth a penny. Like Melvyn said, the real odds on Betfair and the bookies are in no way those showing in Arb Spy. First I thought I just was’t quick enough and the meanwhile the odds had changed but when checking up you will see that they never existed! Also one should realize that for making the claimed profits you are supposed to stay in front op your PC waiting for arbs coming in – pretty boring! Not for people who have a day job! I wrote 3 emails to the Arb Spy team for some advice and also some tech support. NO reply on any of them. Since yesterday the software doesn’t work anymore at all. Some bizarre additional Login-box is popping up from a Scam-site related to “”. What is this. I redownloaded the software-ZIP again, hoping that it might be a programming error only.
Today it’s still the same – not working – and no replay on any supoort email. I am a little ashamed to admit, but I fell for another SCAM-product again I think. But, who doesn’t try , cannot win …
So, I just claimed for a Refund on Clickbank. 113 GBP (tax inclued for Luxembourg) is just to much for such a sleazy rip-off. There are better FREE Arb sites out there for those that like this not unrisky way of betting. All I can recommend is – Stay away (and invest that money in a nice diner with your wife or girlfriend). I am going over to the next system test! Cheers

  • Site Admin James Betting System Guru says:

Hi Melvyn you have reported exactly my findings in regards to the Arbs that it doesnt find, and also the situation concerning betfair prices…

  • melvyn says:

I purchased Arb Spy advanced which is the upsell – to be honest I think the normal version and the advanced (claims to work with more bookmakers) are the same – there certainly is no branding to say ‘advanced version’ anywhere… Anyway, the software does spit out results – but I have yet to see any arb after 2 days testing… When you select an apparent arb and go into the ‘bet browser’ the Betfair lay odds quoted by ArbSpy are ALWAYS much higher than ArbSpy has quoted (and used for its calculations)… If you then check the price graph for the quoted horse you will see that the Betfair price quoted has not existed for some while – this is when clicking the moment the ‘alleged’ arb comes in… A nice concept but can hardly recommend if it fails to provide any arbs!
