2020 Cricket Trading – Admin Announcement.

29th July 2011

Hi everyone,

Gordon here.

My sincere apologies for the delay in this update for 2020 Cricket trading, it is my fault entirely.

Unfortunately it transpired that the English 2020 matches are not to be used for this system, and as the Indian 2020 season had come to an end, we had no option but to put the review on hold until the start of next season, when the review will recommence.

As you will have seen, the performance to this point has not been great, and Sergeant Aris has been in touch with Michael, the author, and Michael is happy for us to reproduce some of his comments here for our readers.

Hi Aris
First of all, I would like to thank you for putting your efforts in reviewing 2020 cricket trading.
A bit of background about myself.
My name is Michael, full time trader on Betfair.. I have launched some of my strategies in public domain…like Place Lay formula, Betfair ATM, Betfair Success Formula, Rate The races…
As I have been trading into 2020 cricket also since IPL started in 2008, so just wanted to let you know that this year Indian IPL is not well balanced as there is a clear divide between top class and bottom class teams.. ..which is against the basic principle of the system…Hope you understand this point now..as you are reviewing it for quite some time..
one of the reasons was ..
Two new teams were introduced this time…Kochi Tuskers and Pune Warriors.
Teams like Delhi did not pick up correctly so team is not well balanced..
I still made a decent profit when IPL started this year and but for last 2 weeks even I am also on  losing run…
Only 11 matches are left in this IPL now…I am expecting some profitable trades in remaining matches.. as IPL is getting to closure…so quality cricket is expected.
But I  know you dont make a decision on product in hurry… So it would be great if we can park this review for next year IPL as well.
Michael
As you can see, our review started just as things tailed off!
Therefore we will be starting the review of 2020 Cricket trading again this autumn, when the IPL gets underway again. At that point we will decide whether or not to start again from day 1.
Regards
Gordon

Hi James,

Sorry about that, but I dont understand why? I agree with everything you say, I was simply pointing out that the author had asked us to review his system using IPL matches only, which as Sgt Rich says, are what he bases his published results on.

At the end of the day, we have to review a product according to the recommended instructions of the author or vendor, in order to replicate their own results.

However, there is no reason why we couldnt review 2020 cricket trading on all leagues and matches as well, as the sales page says it can be used, and I will talk to Sgt Aris about the possibility of doing so.

Meanwhile I will also contact the author, and see if we can get him to try and clarify this situation.

Regards,
Gordon

Hello Gordon,

That wasn’t the type of answer I expected!

To make myself clear, as the author wishes for the system to be tested on IPL only, perhaps his sales page is possibly MISLEADING.

Thanks for your help Sgt Rich, received same e-mail myself today…. sounds like an author that might like to change the goalposts from time to time!

I’ve just checked the current sales page and while it concentrates on results from the IPL, it does say “It will continue to work with any 20/20 cricket match, so after the IPL slog feast there will be plenty more matches to use this handy and profitable strategy.” and “You can use this method for life, and it will work on all 2020 matches and we know there is plenty being played now.”

In my opinion, either the sales page and sales e-mails should be altered to restrict the use to IPL (as has been advised to BST) or we should review it as sold and apply it to all 2020 matches that fit the manual’s description and selection criteria. I.E. we should review what purchasers buy and receive.

I don’t know if this will clarify the situation or make it worse. But I am on “Michael’s” mailing list and today I got an email that recommended trading on today’s T20 match between India and England.

In his e-mail quoted by gordon he suggested the review be “parked” until the next IPL. Yet, today in his sales pitch he is saying:

“Today we have one off T20 International at Old Trafford between India & England.

After 4-0 whitewash, Indian camp morale is down for sure and they would definitely want to win this only T20 match.

So, will I be backing India in this match ??…Answer is NO…

However, I would like to trade this match as I do with any other IPL T20 or any International T 20 match.

Using 2020Crickettrading, you can trade profitably in any competitive T20 cricket game.

Richard, you can also use this strategy in upcoming T20 Champions League in September 2011…where you will find plenty of matches to bet on ….best T20 teams from India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri lanka will participate.

We have been using 2020Crickettrading since 2009 (from second edition of Indian Premier League 2009 onwards).

Liquidity has never been a problem with T20 games..more than 2-3million pounds get matched on each international or IPL game.”

Should we not be reviewing what is SOLD to punters, rather than private “advice” recieved as a review site which may be advice the general buyer does not get?

In today’s sales pitch he is advising using the system for “competitive” 2020 matches whether they are Internationals or IPL.

Hi James,

Whats to answer? We have already agreed with you that the suggestion is that it can be applied to any 2020 match, but also made it clear the author prefers to only apply the system to the IPL.

Cheers,
Gordon

Hello!
When might there be an answer to my last question?

Hello Gordon,

Thanks for your reply…. it’s not the manual I am referring to… it’s the sales page that is accessed from this website promoting the product.

Hello James,
After reading the manual i thought the same but the author made me clear enough that this system is for IPL. I am not sure if he said that because he wants us to test this system only on IPL were it suppose to have better results but the point is to follow what the author says and if he says that this is for IPL then it is for IPL…

Hi James,

I have not personally read the manual, looks like we need to clarify the situation.

I will get it checked out. Thank you for pointing it out James.

Cheers,
Gordon

Hello Gordon,

Thank you for the comments you have made here, but when you look at the sales page, one of the first pictures is for a trade of a T20 game between England and Pakistan.

Further down, it says:
It is perfect for ANY twenty match, and especially the IPL. Is this a case of another author moving the goalposts?

James
