Total Football Trading The Paper Chaser – Day 17

15th November 2011

Hi Bloggers, Sgt Colin here.

Eventually came up with a selection yesterday, despite only one match (Brazil v Egypt) really having enough trading to be a qualifier. In the end, I wished I hadn’t – although again I learned something about the risks of trading. Initially I placed a back bet at 1.4 – and the odds started to lengthen. I closed out the original trade (at a loss), and opened a lay bet at 1.43, hoping to ride the trend which had appeared. This worked for a short while, but then reversed – and  I made a loss on that too. Note for myself – stick to the system, stupid! Total loss for the day, 3.73 points.

15 trading days gone for The Paper Chaser
39 selections, 21 winners, 15 losers, 3 break-even (54% hit rate).
Cumulative gain 58.1 points,
Betting bank 1058.1 (from 1000 start point).
ROI (based on 3900 points invested) – +1.49%.

No bets either today or tomorrow – due to lack of time available. Pity – today would undoubtedly have provided some opportunities.
Update 17th November – doesn’t look as though we’ll have any trades either today or tomorrow – simply too few matches being played.
