We started the week with the bank down at a very disappointing 79 points, with both golf & football selections well in the red. Could we continue last week’s recovery this week?
Golf Tips:
2 golf tournaments this week, the Deutsche Bank in the US, and the Welsh Open. 5 top 10 finisher selections in each , 11 72 hole match bets, and four accumulators. A small loss in the US, with 2 top 10 winners from 5 bets, offset by only 3 match bet winners from 7 bets (and 2 accumulators blown). The Welsh Open results were considerably worse, with 1 top 10 finish and only 2 successful match bets. 3.4 points lost on the week
Overall we’re 16.7 points down from 128 points staked
Football Tips:
4 midweek selections this week, with only 1 winner @ 5/6.
Another 4 bets at the weekend, all both teams to score selections – plus an accumulator. These were all losers – so a terrible week for the football bets, taking the overall loss on them to 14.8 points from 64 points staked.
Another bad week then,
- Opening Bank 100
- Staked 192 points
- Loss to date: 31.52
- Closing bank 68.48
Hit rate is a paltry 35%, and the ROI is -16%.
With four weeks to go, it would be good to see the review show some signs of profitability – we’ve yet to have a really successful week.
