The McDowell matchbet won by 6 shots but Westwood and Fowler were inept on Sunday to slip out of contention. Westwood was particularly galling after talking himself up he hardly hit a fairway. The first time winner Thompson showed the pair of them up and this a first time winner who had missed his last five cuts! Believe me we are on the verge of a big winner
