LBC became only the fourth product to be awarded a 5 star rating at the time for this performance…

UPDATE

As promised we have returned to this service and we will now look at the results following on From 9th August 2015 to the 18th April 2016.

Unlike other review sites we do not keep products in the 5 star section if they do not continue to provide the same levels of profit on an ongoing basis, (or at last show the same consistency). Other review sites would keep the product there but thats not what we do. We are fair both to our readers first and foremost and then the service provider. However we have a duty of transparency and honesty towards both tipsters and readers alike.

So what’s been the story since our review ended in August 2015..?

You can see from the table below that August and September did very well making  54.43 points and 32.85 points respectively. So after the review finished August went on to make 59.68 points profit to recoup the -5.25 points loss up to the 9th August and end the month with +54.43.

October to December saw Lay Betting Code have 3 small losing months making a total loss of 14.19 points.

2016 started with 2 winning months and then ultimately then 2 losing months with April still to run but we have seen enough for now…

So here is the monthly breakdown. PLEASE NOTE August includes the final 9 days of the review period.

Month Year Selections Wins S/R P/L
8 2015 178 161 90.45% 54.43
9 2015 120 108 90% 32.85
10 2015 132 116 87.88% -1.74
11 2015 128 110 85.94% -6.52
12 2015 83 71 85.54% -5.93
1 2016 104 94 90.38% 15.19
2 2016 99 90 90.91% 28.14
3 2016 103 83 80.58% -50.76
4 (18th) 2016 66 54 81.82% -31.25

So since the review finished Lay Betting Code has made a total profit of 39.66 points profit which gives an average of around 4.66 points profit per month from 10th August 2015 to 18th April 2016.

If we look at the figures since we started reviewing Johns service on the 18th May 2015 he has proofed to us a total profit of +126.78 points profit. This spread over the 11 months is still an average of 11.52 Points profit per month which in the laying game isn’t to be sniffed at…

HOWEVER… We are going to re-score John’s service based on the results obtained since our 1st review ended.

+39.66 Points profit in 8 and a half months is not earth shattering. In fact the last two months have shown just how hard laying can be if you don’t have the correct mindset. I think we can all agree that John has shown more metal with laying than any other tipster we had seen before on Betting System Truths.

Although we wont judge John on the last few months results they have to be taken into consideration when deciding if we recommend his service or not.

We believe John will be the first to admit that he needs a big turn around with his service fast to save the year. We know he can do it. He has done it before… Cmon John!!!

We have updated our review to the 18th April 2016 where Lay Betting Code currently sits at -31.25 points for the month which is quite disappointing considering the early profit he delivered to his members. Those who have been with John since we started our review would be sitting with 126.78 Points profit but no movement on that figure really in the last 7 months or so would be frustrating even to them members…

Impressions

The service couldn’t be simpler to operate. There was selections most days although I did end up with a couple of days with no qualifiers where either the selection was a non runner or was above the maximum odds.

Profitability

In 11 Months Lay Betting Code has delivered +126.78 Points Profit. This is around 11.5 points per month on average and not to be sniffed at… However this does not tell the full story as the profit was experienced in the first 3-4 months…

Ease of use

It’s very easy to use. The email arrived promptly each day and it’s simply a case of placing the bet specifying maximum odds of 14.00. If using 5% liability you would need to reset your liability daily otherwise you would need to follow the racing live. We have put John in contact with sporting bots and there is word that he may be offering an auto bet placement service via a bot.

Risk
I experienced very little risk to the bank in the opening days, flat stakes are used and the likelihood of long losing runs seems quite low but towards the end of the review the risk was greater.

[Rating:3.5]

Return on investment

The ROI over the review period was high for a lay service, which is very good..

Support and documentation

For 11 months of the review the service was delivered by email with a members area for backup in case the email gets lost and the selections are available within. There is also the option of a bot now once you have become a member of the tips service. I only had to contact John once after the trial started but got a very prompt reply and he was always helpful and considerate to my needs.

Time needed to apply the system

Very little time is needed to read the email and place your bets. You can place your bets anytime between receiving the email at 11:30 and the start of racing if you can’t place them straight away. However once Johns service got more popular you tend to find it was harder to get a lower price than BSP and so we stopped that and layed as close to the off as possible.

Conclusion

A simple, easy to use service that delivered results shown previously by the author during the initial review period. The author’s results over a much longer period suggest a good consistent long term ROI can be achieved with Lay Betting Code however the last 7 months have been a game of snakes and ladders. We do think that John will make long term profits and if he is to realise this he needs to start moving so a profitable 2016 doesn’t get left behind…

Our Overall [Rating:4.0]

We will continue to follow Johns service and we will update the review moving forward in October 2016 but for now we have decided to downgrade his service to 4.0 stars.
