Match Day Profits – Days 46 to 56
Sgt Colin reviews Match Day Profits
Hi, Sgt Colin here, with my latest review for BettingSystemtruths.com. I am reviewing Match Day Profits, a football tipping service from Phil Brown, one of the Betfan distributed services.
This is the last week of the initial review. After 45 days the service had just got back to around breakeven. Could the recent improvement continue and justify further monitoring?
Day 46 – 1st May – No bets
Day 47 – 2nd May
Europa League double – both Benfica (v Fenerbahce) & Chelsea (v Basle) to win. 10 points @ 2.15. Both won by the same 3-1 scoreline, so into profit.
Day 48 – 3rd May No bets
Day 49 – 4th May
Watford v Leeds. Watford HT/FT, 10 points @ 2.15. Leeds upset the applecart, allowing Hull to gain automatic promotion and scuppering this bet.
Norwich v Villa. Both teams to score, 10 points @ 1.8. 2-1 to the Villa, effectively guaranteeing their survival, and a win for us.
Swansea v Man City.10 points @ 2.05, over 11.5 corners. There were only 8.
Day 50 – 5th May
Kilmarnock v Hibs, Napoli v Inter. Double on Killie most corners, Napoli to win. 10 points @ 2.1. The first game was abandoned, and that part of the bet void. Won 4 points.
Man U v Chelsea – 10 points on United to win @ 2.25. Chelsea deservedly won – so a loser here, taking us back into the red.
Day 51 – 6th May, No Bet
Day 52 – 7th May
Man City v West Brom, Wigan v Swansea. Double on Man City to win, Wigan most corners, 10 points @ 1.9. City won, but the corners ended 4-4. So another loss.
Day 53 – 8th May, No Bet
Day 54 – 9th May
Leicester v Watford. Both to score, 10 points @ 8/11. Watford failed.
Day 55 – 10th May – No bet
Day 56 – 11th May.
So cup final day, and 3 bets to end our initial review. We needed a treble to move into positive territory, as our bank stood at 174.1 points, down 26 points (96.75 using level stakes, down 3.25)
Valladolid v Deportivo. Over 2.5 goals @ 2.05 – 10 points. Only 1 – 0, so a loser.
Man City v Wigan. City to win & Tevez to score. 7.5 points @ 2.625. You all know what happened here – Wigan scored a late winner.
Osasuna v Getafe. HT score 0-0 (5 points @ 2.8) or 1-0 (3 points @ 3.9). But we finished with a winner, as the Half Time score was 0-0.
Start Bank: 200 points Staked: 524 points Loss: 37.36 points Closing bank: 162.64 points. Hit rate: 43%. ROI -7%
Using level stakes: 100 points, Staked 56 points, Loss 4.44 points, Closing 95.56 points. ROI -8%
So after 8 weeks and 56 bets we end up with a loss. having only briefly been in the black throughout the trial.
Unfortunately I see no point in extending the trial further.
