Odds On Ron – Days 37 to 38

15th October 2012

Sgt Colin reviews Odds On Ron

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the latest update on the performance of the Odds On Ron system.

I initially started with a bank of 100 points, staking 1 point per selection (using level stakes) and aiming to return c4 points per day (using the staking plan). After 36 days we were ahead by 30.8 points to level stakes, and 146.4 points using the advised staking plan.

Day 37 – 13th October

The system requires access to the web around the middle of the day, and on 11th & 12th October I couldn’t achieve this, so 13th October became Day 37.

There were 6 selections today, and none of them came in first. The fifth selection managed a place at odds against, so to level stakes we “stopped at a winner”. 7.8 points lost to level stakes, 15.3 points given back using the staking plan.

Day 38 – 14th October

3 selections today. Profit recovery underway, and I decided to use fixed stakes (of 6.4 points) for each horse for the staking plan, in order to limit the potential losses should we have a second successive bad day. Although the first selection trailed in 5th, the 2nd came home at odds of 5.7. 3.2 points gained to level stakes, 20.7 points using the staking plan. Had i simply let the stakes build, we would have gained a further 23 points, but we would have been staking 11 points each way on the last 2 selections.

Updated results:

Staking Plan:  Initial bank 100  Total Staked 501 points Profit 151.7 points  Closing Bank 251.7  ROI 30%

Level Stakes: Initial bank 100 Total staked 166 points Profit 26.3 points Closing Bank 126.3  ROI 16%

We have achieved a 21% hit rate on win bets (22 wins), and 52% of selections have placed (or won).
