Odds On Ron – Days 54 to 55

7th November 2012

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the latest update on the performance of the Odds On Ron system.

I initially started with a bank of 100 points, staking 1 point per selection (using level stakes) and aiming to return c4 points per day (using the staking plan). After 53 days we were ahead by 19.5 points to level stakes, and 133 points using the advised staking plan, where we were starting a profit recovery phase.

Day 54 – 5th November

There were 4 selections today. The first was placed at odds on, the third placed at odds against. We stopped @ a winner using level stakes, but continued for all more races using the staking plan, with no more success. 1.9 points lost to level stakes, 13.6 points lost using the staking plan.

Day 55 – 6th November

5 selections today. Took the decision to fix the profit target at 24 points for all races using the staking plan (the profit target for the first race using the staking system). A case of close, but no cigar – with 3 placed runners out of the 5. Using level stakes we stopped at a winner after race 2, losing 1.9 points on the day. Using the staking plan we lost 20.4 points.

So with 1 day to go of the initial trial period (we will be continuing for 84 days), the updated results read;

Staking Plan:  Initial bank 100  Total Staked 841 points Profit 99.0 points  Closing Bank 199.0  ROI 12%

Level Stakes: Initial bank 100 Total staked 318 points Profit 15.7 points Closing Bank 115.7  ROI 7%

We have achieved a 21% hit rate on win bets (31 wins), and 49% of selections have placed (or won).

Following an exceptional start, where we increased the bank to 273 points, we have recently had a run of only 2 winners in 33 selections – a 6% hit rate. However, we’re still ahead to level stakes, and have doubled our bank using the staking plan.
