Odds On Ron – Days 70 to 72

10th December 2012

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the latest update on the performance of the Odds On Ron system.

I initially started with a bank of 100 points, staking 1 point per selection (using level stakes) and aiming to return c4 points per day (using the staking plan). After 69 days we were  3.3 points down to level stakes, but UP 155.3 points using the advised staking plan.

Day 70 – 4th December

There were 6 selections today. We were starting a new sequence. looking to make 4 points on the day using the staking plan. 3 of the 6 horses placed, the third at odds against. Using level stakes we lost 0.9 points, but were 8.5 points down using the staking plan.

Day 71 – 5th December

6 more selections today. No winners again, and the 4th & 6th selections placed. 5.6 points lost to level stakes, 38 points lost using the staking plan, and using a 40 point maximum profit target per bet.

Day 72 – 10th December

Didn’t have internet access over the weekend, so today was the next betting day. 3 selections – and only a place in the third to show for it. 4 points lost to level stakes, 32 points down using the staking plan.

Updated results are:

Staking Plan:  Initial bank 100  Total Staked 1297 points Profit 76.6 points  Closing Bank 176.6 ROI 6%

Level Stakes: Initial bank 100 Total staked 327 points Loss 13.7 points Closing Bank 86.3  ROI -4%

We have achieved a 19% hit rate on win bets (40 wins), and 46% of selections have placed (or won). The early gains made on the trial on level staking have now been lost thanks to two long losing runs. We’re now on the longest losing run so far – 15.
