Hi Bloggers
Well, after a no selection day yesterday, the system advised one lay today, which was Poppy’s Rose in the 5.15 at Doncaster. It duly came in 6th out of 7 runners for us, at a Betfair SP 0f 5.95 and a ‘normal’ SP of 5/1 (this is referred to on Betfair as the ‘Industry SP’ or ‘ISP’. I shall use that term in future posts.
We were advised to lay at £40 per point so our £40 lay produced a profit of £40 less the Betfair commission of 5%, leaving us a net profit for the day of £38 or 1 point.
Our starting bank was advised at £2,000 so it now stands at £2,038 – a cumulative profit of £38 or 1 point at level stakes.
A cracking start for our first lay of the review and long may it continue.
Have a great weekend
Kind regards
Tony
