We are place laying the selected horses. We can do this either for a set stake or a set liability. In case you are not familiar with these terms here is a brief summary.
£10 stake – we win £10 less commission if the horse fails to place. If it does place our loss depends on the odds. The higher the odds the more we will lose. Calculated as Odds-1 x £10.
£10 liability – if the horse places we lose £10. If it fails to place our profit depends on the odds. The lower the odds the more we will win. Calculated as £10/Odds-1 less commission.
