Tennis Picks – Days 14 to 16

Sgt Colin reviews Tennis Picks

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the continued review of Tennis Picks, which as the name suggests is a tennis tipping service.

We’d made a great start, but had a losing run over the last few days.

Day 14 – 28th April

Two selections

Sharapova v Li Na. 2% of bank on >21 games @ 1.73. Sharapova got the job done in 19 games – so a loser

Rosol to beal Garcia-Lopez, 2% @ 1.61. Two straight, so a winner to break the sequence.

Day 15 – 29th April

Davydenko v Dodig. Davydenko – 3.5 games, 2% @ 1.57. The odds show what a clear favourite the Russian was to win this – but he did what he often does in these circumstances – losing 2 straight. (Personally I wouldn’t bet on a Davydenko match!!)

Tursunov v Matthieu. Tursunov to win @ 1.76. 2% of the bank. Won 2 straight.

Bachinger v Beck. Bachinger to win @ 1.54. 1% of the bank. Won in 3 sets.

Day 16 – 30th April

Bachinger v Troiki. Troiki to win @ 1.97. 4% of the bank. A confident staking level – and justified by a very straightforward victory.

Falla v Kuznetsov. Falla +3. games @ 2.08. 2% of the bank. Another winner, as Falla didn’t need the handicap, winning 6-3,7-5.

Monfils v Meltzer. Meltzer to win @ 2.01. 2% of the bank. Monfils justified his slight favouritism, so a loser to end with.

So a decent set of results, with some small gains made – leaving the hit rate @ 63%.

Staking plan: Opening Bank: 500 points Gain to date: 56.0 Closing 556.0. Staked475.56. ROI 12%.  Hit rate 63%

Level stakes: Opening bank: 100 points Gain to date: 4.4 points Closing 104.4 points. Staked 38. ROI 12%.
