Tennis Picks – Days 29 to 38

Sgt Colin reviews Tennis Picks

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the continued review of Tennis Picks, which as the name suggests is a tennis tipping service.

We’d made a great start, but had lost some of the early gains, only to rebound and build the bank to nearly 600 points.

Day 29 – 13th May

Two selections, one winner @ 1.72, one loser. Small gain on the day using staking plan.

Day 30 – 14th May

Backed Rosol v Troicki, 3% @ 1.67. He lost.

Day 31 – 15th May

3 bets, including one on Chardy +3.5 games v Nishikori, in a match he won 2 straight. Recovered most of yesterday’s losses.

Day 32 – 16th May

2 bets, one win, one loss. 6.5 points lost.

Day 33 – 17th May

Backed both Nadal & Federer to win comfortably – and both just failed to cover the handicap. 23.5 points lost.

Day 34 – 18th May

2 more losing bets today – Nadal too good for Berdych and Garcia-Lopez unlucky to lose @2.25 in final set tie break.

Day 35 – 19th May

3 bets today – only 1 winner (at 1.71). 3 bets on Nadal’s matches this week – all losers.

Day 36 – 20th May

1 bet today, Andujar just covered the handicap v Hewitt, so we recovered 14 points.

Day 37 – 21st May

A single bet today. 4% staked @ 1.58 on Troicki to cover 4 game handicap, which he just failed to do. Bank now down to 517 points.

Day 38 – 22nd May

3 bets today, all at odds against, 2 winners and a close loss. 18 points gained

So a  poor set of results over these ten days, with 56.5 points lost – and the hit rate slipped to 57%. Still in the black overall though.

Staking plan: Opening Bank: 500 points Gain to date: 36.1 Closing 536.1. Staked 997.8. ROI 4%.  Hit rate 57%

Level stakes: Opening bank: 100 points Gain to date: 1.4 points Closing 101.4 points. Staked 81. ROI 2%.
