Sgt Colin Reviews Exchange Profits

Hi all

I  reviewed the Exchange Profits service back in the early summer – so here is a rather belated summary. I look at ease of use and customer service, as well as profitability.

Outline

Exchange Profits is a straightforward tipping service from “The Barking Dog”, apparently based upon insider information. This is delivered via the Bet Kudos website, and selections are available on the website, and emailed to subscribers, with an SMS alert available to your phone.

The stated aim is to achieve long term betting profits on the exchanges, and recommends using Betfair & WBX for staking and lay purposes. So did it do what it said on the tin?

Customer service and ease of use

This was very good – despite an intermittent problem with my email provider (AOL) blocking some emails. Tips were delivered in a tmely fashion, and were available on the BetKudos website too.

However, the bets weren’t recommended on Betfair, but using win and each way bets with the BOG bookmakers.

Profitability

So how did it do – well OK, without ever really shooting the lights out. But we made a profit using both recommended staking levels and level stakes.

The starting bank is recommended at 300 points, and I monitored performance using recommended stakes against that bank, and also level stakes using a 100 point opening bank.

Advised                                Level

Opening Bank                                                  300                                   100

Gain                                                                   22                                        1

Closing Bank                                                    322                                    101

Staked                                                              466                                   290

ROI                                                                    4.8%                                   0.3%

I found the proofing serive on BetKudos to be pretty accurate too.

The quarterly subscription is £98, following a £30 initial month. So not an expensive service, and you would have been in the black  placing bets at £5 per point.

[Rating:3.5]

Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed the review.
