The first day and we had a success! There was only one qualifying match tonight (Leverkusen v Hannover) and it met the criteria. If there had been more qualifying matches I might not have picked this one. Anyway it went the way expected and we got our profit at half time, using 10 point lay bets.
After the match went our way, we were still carrying a 58 point liability on the Match Odds market, until half time. We could have traded off for a smaller profit much earlier in the first half, but the formula advises waiting until half-time. It takes a fair bit of courage to do this, as the match could swing away from your advantage, while you wait for the half time whistle. Of course if the match starts going the wrong way, you would trade-off at a smaller loss than the full 58 points. Nevertheless I found I got twitchy wanting to arb-off for a profit before half time.
