D G Tips Review Day 67

Sgt Mick Review

6th January

 Dear Member

Great to add two more places last night with Wicker and Firmdecisions. Tonight’s three tips are all still to run, they have all been well backed so let’s hope they put in good performances.

Tips for Saturday 6th January, 2018

1.15 Lingfield – Presumido 5-2 widely available
1pt win Fin Unp -£10

Presumido is a very well handicapped horse and has been freshened up since an eye-catching run at Kempton over this trip. He has some good form here so the course switch is no issue and the booking of Adam Kirby is obviously very eye-catching. Stall 6 is fine as he is usually held up, he will need a good pace to aim at but with front runners Juan Horsepower, Varsovian and Toriano that looks very likely.

2.05 Chepstow – Milansbar 16-1 widely available/Raz De Maree 14-1 widely available
Both 0.5pts E/W Milansbar Fin Unp -£10/ Raz De Maree won 16/1 Returns £110

We put up Milansbar for this first time around, unfortunately for us he was a much bigger price that time and now is only 16-1. Very annoying admittedly but even at that price there is still good value in his price. He is a very well handicapped horse and has returned this season in good form, I believe this has been the target for some time and the cheek-pieces added for the first time are interesting. He can race lazily so I am hoping they will keep him interested mid race. He is one of the strongest stayer’s in here and on heavy ground that will be a major asset. I also like Raz De Maree in here. The more I look at his run in this race last year the more confident I get that he will run a huge race tomorrow. The booking of James Bowen is really eye-catching and that is a key reason why I fancy him tomorrow. Bowen has been booked for the ride on this horse for ages and he is an extremely good claimer who will have had the choice of a few in here if he wanted. On that effort from last year his price is lenient.

3.30 Lingfield – Topmeup 8-1 widely available
0.5pts E/W Fin Unp -£10

Topmeup is worth keeping on side in here. He ran really well stepped up to this trip at Wolves last time out and that form line is very strong with the winner winning since and the 5th should have won the other day. Topmeup’s run can be upgraded as he was drawn wide and had to challenge widest of all turning for home. He was only beaten 2 1/2l’s and now 1lb lower with a claimer negating some extra weight he should run a big race. Factor in a better draw in stall 5 and he looks a great bet.

6.45 Kempton – Dor’s Law 4-1 widely available
0.5pts E/W Won 4/1 Returns £34

Dor’s Law is interesting for the in form Ivory yard. He has been in great form recently and finally gets a good draw tomorrow. He has finished 2nd from stall 9 at Chelmsford and 4th from stall 11 again over the same C and D. Before that he had finished 2nd over this C and D from stall 1, he is 3lb higher than that performance today however it worth noting that the winner Kafeel followed up with ease of a 5lb higher mark and Dor’s Law was the only rival to get close. The pair pulled 4l’s clear of any other rival so a 3lb higher mark for Dor’s Law looks lenient to me. From stall 4 tomorrow he should go very close.

Good Luck

5 selections today with 2 of these in the same race,This resulted in 2 winners and 3 unplaced. I think its worth mentioning that one of these winners was The Welsh Grand National Winner 16/1. Stakes today were £50 Returns were £144 giving a profit of £94
