SD2 Forfar WIN@8/5 (vs. Stenhousemuir) – 1pt win bet (B365)

Analysis

Airdrie vs. Peterhead  (lost)

Peterhead are yet to win this season, a poor start for them suggests they will be a mid-table side. Airdrie have a lot of young players at present and have been looking very keen. Sure, it sometimes goes wrong and they lack a little experience but a tidy win against Stenhousemuir and then a good draw against Brechin last out suggest they’re going places. They certainly have the firepower to open up Peterhead and should be evens and arguably shorter to win this. Totesport go a standout 6/5 and this is massive value.

Brechin vs. Livingston  (won)

Brechin are a solid team at this level and should be top five come the end of the season. A bit of a blip last week for Livingston when they failed to maintain their winning streak  but they’re a stronger team than Brechin and given I expect them to be challenging for the title at the season end, they should be shorter than 7/5 to win this, arguably more like 5/4 so take the value.

Stenhousemuir vs. Forfar  (lost)

Stennie have had a poor start to the season and have been struggling to score in recent games. Forfar have been looking strong and a good result last week against East Fife will mean they’re in high spirits. Other results against stronger sides suggest they should have too much quality for Stenhousemuir. Forfar should be stronger favourites to win this than the odds suggest  – 8/5 is a standout price from Bet365 and too big – take it before it goes.

Daily P/L =  – 0.6 pts

New bank =  + 100.40 pts

Overall flat stake profit =  + 0.40 pts after 80 days.
