We started the week with the golf tips virtually breaking even, and the football bets making a small loss.
Golf Tips:
8 selections in the Canadian Open, 5 top 10 finishers, 3 72 hole match bets. 3.65 points gained on the top 10 finishers, as 3 ended in the top 10 (including Brad Snedeker who won), and 2 wins in the match bets added 0.6 points.
Not so successful in the Russian Open. 5 top 10 finishers, 2 72 hole match bets – and none of them came in, losing 7 points.
So a losing week on the golf, and we’re 2.6 points down from 47 points staked
Football Tips:
2 single bets, a treble and an accumulator meant that 4 points were staked on the 23rd July. All came in! 4.9 points gained.
The start of the Scottish league season saw the Gaffa place 4 bets on the weekend matches, with only 2 short priced winners, and Alloa letting us down . 1.2 points lost.
A good week on the football, putting us back to just above breakeven on the soccer tips from 15 selections.
So overall:
- Opening Bank 100
- Staked 62 points
- Loss to date: 2.28
- Closing bank 97.72
