We started the week with the bank down at 90.5 points. Could we recover some lost ground at the PGA Championship?
Golf Tips:
5 top 10 finisher selections , 7 72 hole match bets, and a 125-1 Accumulator. Only 1 winner from the top 10 selections – Dustin Johnson was joint 8th. 0.86 points lost there, 4 winners from the 72 hole match bets, so a breakeven.
So another losing week on the golf, and we’re 9.5 points down from 73 points staked
Football Tips:
4 single match bets on 6th August, plus a win accumulator, and a double chance accumulator. Unfortunately, Ipswich let it all down, losing 2 – 0 – and we lost 1.19 points from those 6 points staked.
3 “both teams to score” bets, along with a treble on the same night. This was again let down by a single match – and another 0.25 points were lost.
4 bets on 10th August, 1 “double chance” treble, and three both teams to score selections. Unfortunately none of these came in, so we had a pretty dire week on the soccer front.
So again, a poor week :
- Opening Bank 100
- Staked 109 points
- Loss to date: 15.79
- Closing bank 84.21
Hit rate is 39%, and the ROI is -14%. Both golf & soccer selections are now well into the red.
Here’s hoping for an improvement over the next few weeks.
