7 bets advised (after 1 horse scratched) at $2 each way ($4 total per each way bet) giving 2 wins and 2 places.
Profit/loss of -4.40 pts (-$4.40). New each way bank of 856.30 pts ($856.30)
Exotic bets :
1 Daily Double which won.
Profit/loss – +36.80 pts (+$36.80). New exotic bank of 844.80 pts ($844.80).
Thoughts for the day
We are entering an interesting time as the tips we are receiving have now changed format.
Previously, every tips email contained 1 main pick (in capitals) for every race. This is not the case now so when we do get a main pick (in capitals) this, to me, means we are getting a more value for money bet.
Also, the tips now include exotic bets and they are quite specific as to what races to place them on. With the exotic bets, I have not included any bets where horses have been scratched. I am providing results purely on exotic bets where all the selections are running.
With the each way bank, a profit of $0.60 from Monmouth Park with 4 selections returning 1 win and 1 place and a loss at Hollywood Park of $5 after 4 bets (after 1 horse scratched) returning 1 win and 1 place.
With the exotic bank, the first bet in quite some time was a winner – $2 Daily Double Races 8/9 at Belmont Park – $12 staked, $48.80 returned – Profit of $36.80
