Currently it is the main aim of the new owner of The Bettingsystetruths and Laytheodds sites, Richard Van Orden, to restore Laythodds to its former glory, and get it back to where it belongs, at the top of the list for people to rely on for honest and transparent reviews of systems and services.
Once we have achieved that, and Laytheodds is back along side Bettingsystemtruths, there may well come a time when an amalgamation of the 2 sites will be considered.
Currently we feel we can best serve our readers by continuing to operate the 2 sites along side one another, as it gives us greater flexibility and allows us to carry out more reviews.
hi gordon thats a fair reply , just a question if BST and LTO are one buisness now why dont you amalgamate them into one site surely this would make it easier to follow ?????
Hi Mike,
When we review a system or service we have to follow the rules and advice of the author or vendor regards staking, otherwise we are not giving it a true test. In this case the recommendation was to use a stake of 10% of the bank per selection, so that is exactly what our reviewer did. Many people have expressed their opinion’s regards the aggressive nature of the stakes, including Rich, who reviewed the system. So, whilst talk on staking is not technically “closed” the review is complete and the final review posted.
However, on our other site, Laytheodds.com, we are currently conducting a second trial of Soccer Overs, this is up to day 24 and is showing a very small profit to date. So why dont you pop over to Laytheodds.com and follow the current review, and continue the debate there.
hi kdw i totally agree with you 1pt = stake in anybodys book but soccer overs uses 10pts per stake which as i said above is great when winning but has lost most of the profit on its last 2 weeks .
out of interest admin why is talk on staking closed , surely soccer overs should have been reviewed as 1pt stakes with a 10 point bank , this would have made it easy to follow rather than give the impression as described by kdw .
I found soccer overs misleading in their results. they say they are 80 points up and to a £10 stake you are £800 in profit. this is true, but each bet has a stake of 10 units so really you are only 8 points up staking £100
[Hi Karl this has been covered extensively on the blog. Soccer Overs advise 10 points stake so you should bet 10 points on the selection. If you choose to bet 1 point on the selection that is against the advice you pay for surely? It has been open to debate and explained and closed...] Admin
hi richard i have been subscribed to soccer overs for 4 months and at one point nearly tripled my bank but over the last couple of weeks weve had some shocking results that has brought the bank down to about 50% up and taking out subs is in a loss position , i think staking 10% of the bank is good when winning but kills the bank when on a losing run . i have cancelled my subscription .
i joined them before your review and like you thought it was one of the best services out there at the time .
Can I ask a question please, I like the idea of this site and laytheodds being linked, however I am a liitle confused as what will happen with a couple of reviews, firstly is the “full circle” which failed on here, yet on LTO it is perfoming fantastically well and over doubled the bank of a £1000, and secondly the much discussed “soccer overs” which I think even the vendor would agreed has met a brick wall and has performed shockingly since the review finished and at current form could not be further from a 4.5 rated service, so we could end up in a situation where one gets a “pass” on one site and a “fail” on the other? just seems like it would not make sense, and could add a degree of pressure to reviewers who could feel going against a score allready awarded?
hi chris i just ask that you record the results as the system asks , Lay the favourite 1 min before off , seems simple , any system can make a profit every month if the selections are changed . 4 in 3 days is enough for me to put it in my scam folder , on to the next one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Firstly, PPH is not doing a review. We are offering 1 months free selections so that people can see the service themselves on a risk free basis. There is no pressure, and people can do what ever they choose to do. We don’t have to offer a free month, and in actual fact, the free month shows good faith and honesty.
I have to do our results to BSP. If I showed them to what I achieved and they were different to BSP, people could say I was fixing the figures. It goes both ways, the results could go agaist PPH by using BSP, so it is not like the results are being swung in PPH favour at all.
During instances where the prices are very close, the bettor doesn’t have to bet, but if they do, they can expect to see that the results may vary.
It would be a shame if January ended up as a losing month. It is still early days for the month, but betting systems and services can’t be judged as good or bad over a course of a month. Regardless if January makes a profit or loss, PPH remains as an outstanding long term profitable service. Horse race betting success has to be based on the long term. Good or bad systems could be profitable for one month, but long term consistency year after year is quite rare.
hi chris if you want to make this an honest review you should bet the selections yourself at 1 minute to the off and report those selections rather than just copying betfairs official favourite which has changed the selection at least 4 times in the last MINUTE over the last 3 days . imagine how many others are wrong in your results page .
another review site is doing this and has -8pts so far as do i , whereas your results show +1pt and thats just 3 days !!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is Chris Castell. I am one of the people working on Portfolio Power House. This service is the real deal. There is no fixing of anything, and everything is above board.
Firstly, if someone wants to sound an alarm, they should first find out the facts first, and not rush telling everyone about what they only know in part.
The service is made up of 24 micro systems. Each micro systems has a different set of selection rules. For January, we do require the lowest priced horse in the lay betting, but other months, this may not be the case.
We don’t alter the results in any way whatsoever. That would be completely unethical, and is something we would very much frown upon ourselves.
We report the results to BSP so that we can be completely transparent, and that the results are verifiable. For the lay selections in January, we go for the lowest priced horse in the race (so long as it is one of those in our selection of horses to lay, and so long as it is in the right price range). The results shown are the lowest price, and that is verifiable.
People betting in instances where the favourite is neck and neck just before the off may select a different horse, and in those instances, we may show a profit where as they may have a loss, and vice versa.
Finally, the industry favourite is not always the lowest priced horse in Betfair, so if you want to verify the results, you should check the Betfair BSP results.
Portfolio Power House is run by respected people in the industry. We are offering a free 30 day trial so that people can make their own decision if it is for them or not.
For those of you trialing it or monitoring it, I hope you enjoy the experience
“Since he no longer sells the system, I’ll post how it plays.
Play columns. Wait until you have two different columns hit, I.e., column 1, 1, 3…..bet 1 and 3. Continue betting 1 and 3 until 2 hits. Then triple your bet and keep betting 1 and 3. If 2 hits again……switch to the 2 column and the last of the 1 or 3 to have hit and triple your bet. There are times when you can go 100 spins and never hit the wall.”
went from £50 to £110 then I pulled the whole lot out, I read on another forum who run it through a 10000 spin test and it lost, as it is based on sleepers. ie if numbers 1 to 12 have not appeared in 5 spins it then starts betting with a matingale staking.
on this forum I went to they said not to touch playtech software, so I left and went to bet Voyager table with zero edge, went from £50 to a £100 quickly, then it lost the lot on a “deep sleeper”, well to be fair it won, but not until it went well past the table limit of £60 on outside bets. it won on stake £124.
Anyway all roulette forums agree there is no “golden” strategy, however many of them talk about a guy called Steve Morgan from New Zealand who does not seel his systems but is very sucessfull at roulette, one guy posted what he does, but I dont understand it Yidoboy, if you could help would be much appreciated
hi just want to warn people about a new service being touted today PORTFOLIO POWER HOUSE . they changed there result on there lay bet today giving themselves a profit when in fact the correct pick won the race ( a loss for the system )
also they say only lay the favourite in certain races but there archived results dating back to 2006 show lots of races with several runners at different prices , cant all be favourites surely ??
I did take the free trial, current bank is at £81 from £50, at one point was down to £24, it is certainly better than the red/black rubbish that is often sold everywhere.
there is a lot of no betting, so you have to find a table that lets you spin without putting any ante down, I am using willhill, he goes on about using casino bonus offers, I did not as the play through on roulette in insane, if offered at all.
Problems are easy to see, in that table limits for me are £50 on the outside table bets, what I do like is the spreading, at one point I had 1-18, 3rd coloum and odds, and most spins so far without a win has been 8.
I will let you know when my £50 goes up in smoke, or I become rich
Hi Karl,
It has always been the belief here at BST that any Casino type system could never achieve better than a neutral rating. As it is our intention not to give neutral ratings in the future, I dont see any point in reviewing Roulette Reaper.
I have just looked at the sales page, there is a crazy video which packs 30 minutes of betting action into less than 4 mins, making it impossible to tell what on earth is going on! There is also the opportunity to enter your details to obtain a free trial of the software, so if you fancy it Karl, fill your boots, and dont forget to let us know how you get on;-)
I see Roulette Reaper is being touted about, any ideas on it, I am Mr Untrusting with roulette systems, but this seems to use a different way, and runs multi bets on a table, any chance you guys could bag a review please

Karl, is the losing run on Soccer Overs as reviewed on LTO any worse than the losing run suffered half way through the review on here?
You ask a good question. But I would expect results to even out over an 84 day review.
If they don’t ……
