Odds On Ron – Days 12 to 14

6th September 2012

Sgt Colin reviews Odds On Ron

Hi, Sgt Colin here, with the latest update on the performance of the Odds On Ron system.

I initially started with a bank of 100 points, staking 1 point per selection (using level stakes) and aiming to return c4 points per day (using the staking plan). Could we keep up the good work of the first 11 days?

Day 12 – 3rd September

4 selections, two thirds and two 4th places. One of the thirds was the first race run – which gave us a 0.1 point gain using level stakes, and we therefore “stopped at a winner” using that plan. Using the staking plan we continued with the 4 bets, ending 4.6 points down.

Day 13 – 4th September.

10 selections initially. The 2nd runner was 2nd at betfair odds of 3.75 so we “stopped at a winner” after two races using level stakes. The third runner won – giving us a 9 points gain using the staking plan.  (The 5th & 8th selections also won at 5.0 and 6.8 – but again these don’t count, missing out on 9 points profit to level stakes and 13 points on the staking plan).

Day 14 – 5th September

Rather than 13, Day 14 was unlucky for us, with 7 selections and only the first of those placing. We lost 12.1 points to level stakes, and a massive 46 points using the staking plan (having staked 7.1 points each way on the last 2 races).

So having been up to 112.8 points to level stakes and 159.6 points using the staking plan, after 14 days we have the following results:

Staking Plan:  Initial bank 100  Total Staked 169 points Profit 13.9 points  Closing Bank 113.9  ROI 8%

Level Stakes: Initial bank 100 Total staked 62 points Profit 0.7 points Closing Bank 100.7  ROI 1%

Not able to make selections today – so will see whether we can recover tomorrow.
