Hi Bloggers

Another two selections today and here’s what we were given:

Windsor 19:10 – Lost In The Moment

Unexposed Jeremy Noseda colt who, with Ryan Moore in the saddle, is expected to go off short here. There are, however, some negatives that mean he is opposable. He has been upped in Class today having landed a gamble at Newbury last time out (without looking the most straightforward of rides) and is up against proven performers at this level. Untried at Windsor so course suitability is unknown. Not been out for 2 months which suggests he may have suffered a setback. Fitness, form and wellbeing are therefore taken on trust. Win was on Good to Firm going and he tackles some give in the ground here along with a 7lb rise in Official Ratings. Small concern is that there may be more improvement to come from him but there are 2 or 3 in the race that look in with a good shout here. We therefore recommend lay subject to maximum odd of 3.5

Windsor 20:10 – Sunley Spinalonga

Consistent filly from David Elsworth’s yard who bids for a hat trick of wins here. However, there are several negatives that mean she is opposable. Her only runs so far have either been on the All Weather Polytrack or a Good to Firm surface on turf. Her 2 wins have been on Good to Firm (in weaker races than this) and it is no guarantee she will enjoy tonights surface with a bit of give in it. Her runs have been between 8f – 10f with wins at 9f & 10f. She’s therefore not guaranteed to to be suited by a step up to over 11 furlongs here which will be over 2 furlongs further than her last win. Official Rating has been raised 4lb. Race looks reasonably open and we recommend lay subject to maximum odds of 4.5

Mixed results, as Lost In The Moment came first of the field of 8 runners, but was actually odds on at a Betfair SP of 1.85 (ISP 4/6) resulting in a loss of -£34.00 or -0.85 of a point at level stakes. Sunley Spinalonga came 2nd of the 8 runners at a Betfair SP of 4.40 (ISP 3/1) giving us £38.00 profit or 0.95 of a point at level stakes. Over the two races we made a profit of £4.00 or 0.10 of a point at level stakes, so no harm done. Our cumulative bank is at £2,178.40 giving us a profit to date of £178/40 or 4.46 points at level stakes.

Kind regards

Tony
