Another selection today and here are the details:
Salisbury 15:40 – Goldtrek
Bids for a four timer today which sees her as forecast favourite here. There are some negatives however, that mean she is opposable. Upped in Class today, this is a much tougher race than she has previously encountered. Untried at track so course suitability is unknown. Her wins have been on Good to Firm & Firm going so todays ground with some give in it, isn’t guaranteed to suit her. Raised 7lbs from her last race, her Official Rating is now 20lbs higher than 2 months ago and she carries 9st 8lbs today which is a career high. Trainer has an average strike rate here (which is similar to his main rivals). Looks a competitive race.
The selection came in 6th of the 11 runners at a Betfair SP of 8.40 (ISP 11/2). That gave us a profit for the day of £38.00 or 0.95 of a point at level stakes. The cumulative bank is still just below the starting point at £1,961.60 giving us a small loss to date of -£38.40 or -0.96 of a point at level stakes.
