Consistent gelding at this level who is forecast favourite in this weak handicap sprint. There are however, a few negatives that mean he is opposable. Two previous runs over course and distance have seen him finish out of the frame (accepted that 1 of those runs was his racecourse debut) so there’s no guarantee he will enjoy the track. Just squeezes into this race with a career high Official Rating of 55 and carries top weight of 9st 2lbs. Draw may be key here and he missed the break last time out but overcame that to beat 5 rivals. Others appear to have a better draw and it will be harder to pass this field if he misses the kick again today. Trainer’s record reads zero wins from 22 attempts at the track in the last 5 years.
