Another selection today, so here are the details:
Brighton 14:00 – Clerical
Attempts a four timer today after 3 wins in July and is expected to go off short here. There are a few negatives however, that mean he can be opposed. Not run at Brighton before so suitability of the course isn’t known. His 3 recent wins have been on Firm / Good to Firm going. His 3 performances on Good going have seen him soundly beaten each time. Raised 5lbs for a neck win, his Official Rating is now 58 which is almost a stone higher than a month ago. Trainer’s strike rate at the track is low with just 1 winner from 21 attempts in the last 5 years.
Unfortunately, the selection was declared a non runner, so we live to fight another day.
