Total Football Trading The Paper Chaser – Days 43 to 44

10th January 2012

Hi Bloggers, Sgt Colin here.

2 days to review on this post, trading on one. A reminder that the system only works with evening kick offs, so no weekend football qualifies.

9th January
Two matches qualified, but neither were selected.
10th January
Again only a few qualifying matches – 3 today, and two were worthy of a trade. Nice to see that both were successful, improving our results still further.
Real Madrid @ Malaga. Layed the favourites at 1.46 in this Spanish Cup match, and after a period when the odds went against us, managed to close out at a small profit (backed at 1.47, 1.4 points gained)
Santander v Mirandes.

Backed the home team at 2.06, and they dutifully shortened. I closed out when the odds stopped declining for a while at 1.94, making a very healthy 5.88 points profit.
With both trades I was a little hasty in closing out – and could have made an extra profit on both trades – quite a big extra gain on the Real Madrid trade. But can’t grumble!
