The first selection in this review and nearly a tremendous start.
Boxing Shadows was in touch, made smooth headway on the outer two furlongs out, then led over a furlong out, ridden and hung left inside final the furlong, but headed in the last 40yards to finish second.
It is always difficult to know when the best time is to back selections so I checked at four different times and recorded the Betfair Starting Price, just to try and cover everything.
At 06:00 it was trading at 5.2; 30 minutes before the start 7.8; one minute to go 9.4; BSP 8.7. I am going to go with 30 minutes before the start during this review. But let us not run away with the idea that these selections will always drift like this.
I did actually put money on this one. By the time the two furlong marker was passed I was trading out at five times my stake (which is nice), so there is another avenue to explore if they all perform as well as this one.
