Both of these are a tad short for singles but have good win chances and excellent place chances.
Hadron Collider is in a race that looks between 3. Of these he is the least exposed and looks sure to improve on his recent hurdling debut when a promising 3rd in what is was possibly a better race than this.
Posh Bird is far more exposed but there are reasons to expect her to perform today. The tactics seem to be to target her for UK races in the spring on good ground after a winter campaign in Ireland. Such was the case last year when she went very close at Sedgefield before getting the win on the 2nd attempt. This year she went to Ayr last month where she performed admirably in a much better race. Her trainers stats are telling: with an overall 37% strike rate at Perth with 4 winners from 6 runners in hurdles last season at the course. “
