Passed 3.53.53.53.5Form Labs

This is a full one-off software review for Form Labs, covering as many of the key features as possible.

I will then devise some strategies/systems using the software and conduct a 56-day on-going review to see how feasible it is to make a profit from the software. Inevitably this will be dependent upon my skill in using the mass of data that the software provides.

One-Off Review of Form Labs

So what is Form Labs? It is a football analysis program. It comes in three versions: A “Lite” version for pre-match betting; a “Pro” version that also includes in-play betting; and a “Black” version that adds advanced analysis tools. You can try any of the versions on a FREE 28-day trial.

As the sales page says “The better informed you are the more likely you are to turn a profit. It’s that simple.”

Form Labs Lite

Not only does Form Labs Lite put all the stats from 40 plus leagues at your fingertips, it puts them into a meaningful context that you can use to identify more profitable bets.

You can use the in-depth match data (see screen shot below) and then put in a query to the database to uncover betting opportunities that others miss. The match data includes no fewer than 25 Form Tables (Last 20 games, Corners, discipline, etc), Key Match Indicators (to help identify trends), Game Notes and Top 3 Match Indicators.

The Top 3 Match Indicators are of particular interest, as they immediately give you three firm recommendations around which you can form bets.

Here’s a screenshot showing the Match Data:

Here is a screenshot of the query page from which you can generate a report or see a Head to Head report.

Form Labs Lite costs £25 a month or £225 for 12 months after your initial FREE 28 days.

Form Labs Pro

Form Labs Pro features all the above PLUS in-play queries. Using these, you can discover how teams perform based on the current match position, build in-play strategies based on teams in similar positions and see how matches are likely to play out every 15 minutes.

For example, below is an in-play scenario for the forthcoming Wigan v Blackburn match. Suppose that when the match is being played on 19th Nov in-play, it is a draw at half-time, we can generate this report during half-time and can see that in their last 10 matches that were being drawn at half-time Wigan went on to win 4 of them and Blackburn lost 6 of theirs! It also gives the odds for each WDL which you can compare with the current odds being offered on this match.

This screen was generated by the “Black” version but you can also do this with the “Pro” version.

Form Labs Pro costs £45 a month or £395 for 12 months after your initial FREE 28 days.

Form Labs Black

So what extra do you get with the “Black” version?Form Labs It includes individual player analysis, live in-play alerts and profitable betting ideas in the Daily Report. You can analyse the impact of individual players, get the starting XIs and a %age team strength score. You get updated editorial in-play, based on the best bets and you can set up your own customisable in-play alerts (see image opposite) for betting and trading opportunities.

The Daily Reports highlight the strongest match day and long term betting trends. In the year from Aug 2010 to August 2011 this has been the P/L performance of the Daily Reports:

Form Labs

As you might expect this version doesn’t come cheaply, but for sheer range of analysis and features I haven’t seen anything better.

Form Labs Black costs £150 a month, £300 a quarter or £1,000 for 12 months after your initial FREE 28 days.

Form Labs is a serious bit of kit and to some extent the value to you will depend on how skilfully you use the tools. Even the “Lite” version will put you way ahead of most football punters.

At first the software seems daunting in terms of the extent of the data and features. The Intro Webinars and on-line help will ease you through this learning curve. Don’t rush this if you want to get value for money and if you want to fully appreciate how to use the software to your advantage.

That just about concludes my one-off software review. I am giving the software a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 (I never give anything the full 5 stars!)    3.53.53.53.5Form Labs

What I will do next is devise at least one strategy for each version and carry out a full 56-day review for each.
