There are no selections today, 20th July. Here is what they said about yesterday’s first losing selection of the trial:
“Selection : Poppy Seed. Drifted outside of our recommended maximum price (5.8) during the day but was backed into on course favouritism and returned Betfair SP 5.07 (5/2F). Interestingly was NOT Betfair favourite.
Selection ran a good race and hit the front between the final 2 furlongs. Was challenged either side and looked like being taken. Unfortunately for us, she held on to win by a head and a neck. The 2nd and 3rd horses both traded around 1/2 & 4/7 in running. Regretfully that ends our 16 race winning run. It’s also frustrating that the 2 losing lays out of the last 26 Selections have both won by the short distance of a head.”
