(Note -Pret A Thou finished 3rd in a 7 runner race, but would have paid out at 2.60 on betfair in you had simply backed all horses to place, I have not included this in the profit/loss figures as the criteria was to “back”)
Day 1, 4 selections backing to level stakes using a £100 bank and using £2 as our stake, results as follows:
One successful place at 4.67 x 2 = 9.34 (less) 5% Commission = £8.87 Less our £8 stake = £0.87
It is a pity that Tail of the Bank wasn’t the “back” selection as that would have been a tremendous start!
